Hare+Hart is designed by Jennie Engelhardt and Emily Harrison (best friends from college) in New York and Buenos Aires.
With the Selby Hand Clutch, we wanted to create a chic, simple clutch that really showcased the leather we were using. The particular leather used for this clutch is vegetable tanned and is sourced from one of the oldest and most historic tanneries in Argentina that only uses vegetable dye -- no heavy metals -- in their tanning process. They are known for producing the highest quality leathers. Once we chose the leather, the clutches were each individually cut and sewn here in Buenos Aires, Argentina by our manufacturers' small team of 20 people.
