Size doesn't work for the small waisted

"I wanted to love this belt in person as much as I did from the photo. I usually wear a FP XS or 0 and I ordered the S/M, which was the smallest size they made in the belt. I have a belt similar to this, but without the flowers and it has quite a few holes along it so that it can be adjusted for different body types. When it said "adjustable" for this belt, I figured it was the same type of design, but it's not, there are only 5 holes. If I wrap the belt around my waist twice, it's far too loose...falling off of me. If I tie it around my waist 3 times, it is about 9 inches short of reaching the first hole. I even tried moving it up and down to different areas of my waist, but still didn't work. Also, it shows in the picture that the leather is unfinished on the backside, but the one I received was so unfinished that there were little strands falling off of it. I even considered exchanging for the m/l, but decided that having it wrapped around my waist so many times wasn't the look I was going for. The daisys are a beautiful touch, disappointed this didn't work for me."
