"Overall I'm a bit on the fence about this hat, but that is mostly because it arrived smooshed and I have yet to get the kinks out.
That said, It's a pretty good basic black hat. If you're looking for an over sized floppy hat, this probably isn't your best option. Regardless, I have too many floppy hats so this brim size is a nice change.
Overall, the quality is worth the sale price, I just wish this had been shipped more securely."

Dusty Brown not Rust

"I absolutely loved this hat on the model! and I really wanted a rust coloured hat i could take anywhere, not too big but floppy enough. It was mostly the colour that sold it for me. However, when I received the hat, it was this kind of dusty or pale brown with an orange tinge to it!! The hat itself is good quality, and size was good. There wasn't any floppyness to the brim, though perhaps it just needed some breaking in. I returned it as I hated that colour and it was not at all rust colour. too bad :("

"I ordered the hat in taupe color. I also don't think you have necessarily to be tall in order to wear it, but it does help if you're petite and wearing heels :P. The material is super soft and thick, so it's a great hat for cold weather and even for when it's raining. I do think it would look better on me if I had longer hair (mine is currently a chin-length bob), because the brim seems wider than in the pictures. But, anyway, I'd say it's a really cool hat, almost perfectly well-made and very pretty."

"This hat is lovely. It's fairly well made and made in the USA--great buy at the sale price. I think I'm going to buy the black also, but the copper color is beautiful. I'm 5'2" and don't think you need to be tall to wear this hat at all. I have a normal sized head with very thick hair and the hat fit snugly."
