You want to know what is wrong with this belt? In a word, EVERYTHING! Everything to the poorly construction, workmanship, bad leather, tacky, uneven braiding and sizing. Your belt plays a pretty important role in your wardrobe: keeping your britches from dropping to your knees and preventing total embarrassment to being a fashion work of art. What happened to this leather belt when it was produced?
This must be a unisex belt as I ordered a size M/L and it was so huge. How huge you ask? I belted to last hole to make it as tight as I could but still was not tight enough. I was able to slip it over my hips and down to my ankles and step out of it. The M/L measure 49 inches from end to end. That is over 4 feet long. The same size as my kitchen island. You got to be kidding me FP. The metal closure strap was tacky and not of good material and the strap of it was not perfectly centered like the models. The center of the strap was at the far edge of the utility pocket which then fastens at an angle. The leather was marked and cut and braiding coming un-done. Raw side exposed somewhat in braiding. Unevenly braided. Different pieces of leather sewn together to make length (poorly sewn together). The leather was stiff, hard and not soft. The leather smelled so bad. It looked like a first time amateur leather worker made this one. Now the good things. The idea of the belt was good if it used better leather(prefer soft and manageable) and better construction and workmanship. This belt is not worth 10.00 as sent to me. Returning back to FP for exchange, hopefuly for one like the models and for a size small as this belt is huge. I am 29 inch waist. In leggings I am a size small. I am hoping my belt was a rarity. If not then I will return the exchange. But hoping I get one like the models.

I use belt-bags instead of purses, so I knew I'd have to buy this one. I decided to wear it for several days before entering a review. Positives: 1) more petite than others like it/not overpowering to wear, 2) works equally well inside belt loops or over tunics, 3) super lightweight and comfortable. The size S/M that I bought fits hips from 31 & 1/4" to 37 & 1/2", at approximately 1" intervals. Pocket measures 4 & 3/4" long by 4 & 1/4" wide by 1 & 1/2" deep. Front flap extends about two inches below the pocket at the longest part. Leather is thin and a deep chocolate color. Made in Morocco. I would have given this more stars if the price was lower and if there was a snap or a zipper closure.
