About the Stones:

The amazonite was adored by Native Americans as the protective "Amazon's Stone". It shields the aura and amplifies balance, calmness and intuition. Its supportive impact helps with uneasiness, grief, heartache, mood swings, depression, nightmares and fears.

The quartz, also known as 'German Diamond', is a versatile healing stone. It helps releasing energy blocks harmonically within the whole body. In ancient Rome the quartz was known as the seat of gods, symbolizing wisdom, courage and fidelity. Native Americans put a quartz close to their newborns for protection and Buddhists use it for meditation.

The chrysocolla is the "Stone of Wisdom", was admired in old Egypt and helps making wise decisions. It is a very soothing and calming stone, releasing tension and stress, shields against and transforms hatred and aggression into love and tolerance.

About the Designer:

Jean Balke is the designer of NALLIK and has worked as an art director for 5 years after her masters in communication design. She started taking jewelry classes years ago to have a creative outlet for. Rocks and gems have always been her passion, which she finally came turned in NALLIK, which was founded in 2010 in NYC. All the pieces she designs has raw semi precious stones and are handmade; therefore, every piece is unique.

Recently the the NALLIK label re-located to Berlin, Germany, where Jean has decided to now work mainly from after years of traveling and living abroad. But she still keeps a close connection to NYC, where the magic and the brand all started.
