"I just received my ring today and it does not look anything like the picture. First of all, the stones are not even turquoise. They are a weird dull medium blue. And if the ring itself is brass, I can't tell because it looks like it's been completely coated with some kind of gold colored paint. Like someone poured over it and didn't even do a good job because there are specks of gold that got on some of the stones. If a piece of jewelry that cost $148 looks this cheap, I can't imagine what $50 dollar free people jewelry looks like."
"The ring in the photo is vintage looking brass with gorgeously marbled turquoise stones. The ring I received in the mail is a shiny gold, and the turquoise stones are just bright, solid blue. The whole thing looks very costumy and cheap, and while I know that it's the luck of the draw and I probably just got one that doesn't look as good, the ring is also really snug. I'm normally a size 7, but a lot of these "designer" rings have been running really snug lately. I was really excited to get this ring, but because of the solid blue stones I don't know if it's worth $150. There is a variety of turquoise that is just a solid blue, but given the picture I was expecting something different. Might be returning, but haven't decided yet."
