"I don't normally order shoes from FP, but when I saw what a deal these were, I had to have them. I thought this shoe would be heavier, so I was pleasantly surprised with how light and easy they are to walk in. Unfortunately, these shoes run small... The length is fine, but the width is narrow for my foot, which hangs off the side and looks tacky. I don't think getting a size up will solve that problem :-("

"I bought these in the cuoio color, size 40. I wear an 8.5 or 9US. In Ash shoes, I wear a 38.5 or 39. Normally a 38.5. I read several reviews that said to size up, so instead of getting a 39, I decided to order them in a 40. I'm so glad I listened to all of those reviews. The 40 fits me pefectly. If I would have went with a 39, then my toes would have been hanging off the front of the shoes. By the way, if you want to read more reviews that what is posted on FP's site, then search for Ash Vivian wedges/sandals. This is another instance where FP changed the name of the shoe style from Vivian to Alisa. The color is gorgeous and I find them easy to walk in. There isn't any cushioning, so I'll probably end up adding Foot Petals to them. That way I can wear them for an extended length of time. The ankle straps are a bit loose. I wear them on the tightest notch and there is still some room. Not enough room to make them feel like I'm walking out of them though. Overall, I love these shoes! I highly recommend them."

"I LOVE these shoes. With that being said, there are a few problems with them. The ankle strap on the right shoe is considerably larger than the ankle strap on the left shoe on the pair I received. They have absolutely no cushioning either, so your feet WILL get sore after a while. Because the ankle strap even on the tightest notch is still large on both feet, it does make walking a little more difficult. These shoes also scuff/get stained on the wood part VERY easily. However, they are great shoes that get tons of compliments and go with practically everything. Even though there are a few problems with these shoes, they are definitely keepers!"

"i had very high hopes for this, especially given the other reviews. i ordered my usual 36. it just didn't fit right. it was well-made, but when i tried it on, it was VERY uncomfortable. the platform is solid (perhaps a bit too solid for my taste) and i was in pain just standing to try the fit. i don't think getting a different size would have helped. i think i can find a cheaper alternative that looks similar and is still well made. oh well..."
