Very Uncomfortable

"Very beautiful, but very uncomfortable. The laces/eyelets caused bruises on my feet after twenty minutes, the bruising lasted for weeks. But alas, I wore them outside without a replacement pair of shoes to put on, so they couldn't be returned. I had to buy another pair of shoes at the mall just to get out of these."

"just love these - got em in camel, great color. the fit is true (as compared to "true" fit ie: these are = in fit to my jeffrey campbells), and thankfully i can adjust fit with ties - a great plus for a slightly slender foot"

Can't get much more adorable...

"I thought these were so adorable that I had to get them in both colours! My true size is 6.5W, but I normally size up to a 7 if wide sizes aren't available, so I bought the Camels in a 7 and the Cafes in 6.5, and the 6.5 fit absolutely perfectly and are insanely comfy as a result. I can pound the pavement all afternoon in these with zero pain and no fear of toppling over because they are so sturdy, and they just make every outfit cuter. In terms of colour, the Camel is definitely more mustard-y in person, which I love, and the Cafe is more taupe-y/greyish in person, which I also love. It's worth noting that initially, I was ambivalent about the colour of the scrolling on the Cafe shoes (the etched swirls framing the lasercut perforations) because I didn't feel that it contrasted enough with the colour of the leather(see my photos), unlike on the Camel, where the scrolling looks almost black, but I've gotten over that difference. My only complaint about these shoes is that because it is a relatively high heel and the shoe back is kinda high on the ankle, as I walk and step forward putting my weight on the front shoe, the zipper digs into the back of my ankle a little, so I just wear them unzipped about 1/3'' and that takes care of the problem but doesn't make me wobbly."

"My husband ordered this shoe for me. I love shoes and especially ones as uniques as this pair. They are great with a capri style jogger or with any roll up loose fit pant. They turn sporty into sexy! They are a little more grey tan than brown. My only complaint is they are only good for about three hours but I plan to change that with gel insoles! Ladies you will love this shoe"

"These are actually very comfortable. I wear a 10.5 and was able to fit into the 10 after loosening the front lacing. I was crossing my fingers for a more tan sort of color but it came quite yellow. The detailing makes it look a little more tan/dark in those corresponding sections. Also, I was hoping for more texture on the heel but it was quite flush. All-in-all I think it's really a fantastic shoe with great detailing and the leather itself is quite soft."

"These shoes are by far the absolute prettiest shoes I own. LOVE! LOVE! I bought the camel in my usual size 7. The fit is TTS. I have wide feet, so they are snug on me width wise, but that is the norm for me...I suffer for fashion! ;-) Sizing up would not affect the width that much and would only cause the shoes to be too long. Everything about these shoes is special and eye catching. The intricate leatherwork is, as another reviewer put so well, "a work of art". I love the lace-up front, the zippered back, the heel height, the color, the versatility, the exceptional quality (far exceeds the price point)...well..I could go on and on. If you are thinking of getting these, but are not sure whether or not to splurge...GO FOR IT!!!"

Sandals of the Season

"Saw someone wearing these and just had to have them but didn't know where to buy them... Next day the Free People catalog comes in the mail and there they are! My prayers were answered and now I have what I think are the coolest sandals of the season....comfortable and cooooool, I recommend to anyone with a hip sense of style. PS-I'm usually a leader, not a follower when it comes to style....Thanks Free People!"
