Distressed leather ankle boot with patterned woven inserts. Zipper on the inner sides. Welted leather sole. The leather tone, level of distressing, and woven blanket between will vary slightly from boot to boot, making no two boots exactly alike.
This boot is made in the exact same way it was made over a hundred years ago, at the same factory. Every single aspect of this boot is handmade from start to finish, one pair at a time. The detailing is hand woven by a group of families in a small village outside of Oaxaca that have been looming in the traditional manner for generations.

**A Goodyear welted sole is a near-indestructible sole comprised of multiple layers of leather, stacked together and glued, then fastened through the sole with small cylindrical pegs of wood individually hammered in. It's a very laborious and time consuming process but creates a sole that can be reworked years later and able to last a lifetime.

I love these boots. They are adorable in that distressed cowboy sense. The only problem is that they take a little while to wear in. The leather is a little tough and it takes a couple wears before it starts to give. I've worn these about 5 times now and they are finally getting to the point where I can wear them without getting blisters at the end of the day.

this boots are definitely worth every penny! they are extremely well made, sturdy, and very cute! the brown is slightly lighter and not as shiny as they seem in the pictures. I think they look way better in person! the sizing runs a bit small. I am usually a 5.5 and cannot fit into any of fp shoes, but the 6 in these shoes fit perfectly so you may want to size up! overall, i am very happy with these boots and i cant think of a negative thing about them! they are perfect.

love these boots... the fabric addition to the top is fabulous! unfortunately, i have to exchange them for a size up... i'm generally an 8 or an 8.5 (my foot is slightly wide at the front). i usually take an 8.5 in boots for a little extra sock-room and to be on the safe side. since these only came in whole sizes i went with an 8; i've found shoes that come in whole sizes are generally a little more forgiving size-wise (i used to work in a shoe store)... but this was not the case. i definitely should have gone with the 9... they were just a bit too snug. so, if you're between sizes, wear thick socks, or have a wider foot i would definitely say go with the size up.
