Rated 5 out of 5Â by mermaidmadison Stunning back, unusual pleating and cut I was afraid when I ordered this that it wouldn't look as good on as it did online. I ordered this for my Junior Ring Dance, because it was inexpensive and it seemed like something I could wear more than once. And it is. I don't think anyone else will have anything like it, it is simple, but stunning. I'm curvier (5'4" 120lbs) and I ordered a small, so I think I will get the waist taken in, so that I don't look thicker than I am. Also, the back currently gapes slightly and it is super long. Even though I will wear heals, it is going to have to be hemmed (but luckily the edge is unfinished). As the other reviews said, there is some major pleating on the chest and hips, but I find that it enhances the dress. Overall, it is a very elegant piece. 1.13.2013

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Bailey4 Beautiful... This dress is absolutely beautiful. I'm 5'8" 115 lbs and the XS fits perfectly (and is more than long enough for me!). However, what you can't see in the photo is that there are pleats on the torso and hips of the dress. They are beautiful details but add volume to that area which give me a pear-like shape in the dress. Would be more flattering on someone with straighter hips. 5.2.2012

It is difficult to see the gorgeous pleating detail across the bodice and the hips, but it allows the dress to lightly hug your curves without squeezing or bunching. The dress is lined to about mid-thigh with the same soft fabric. It is unfinished on the bottom hem, so adjusting the length is not a chore. Beautiful and ethereal, you almost feel like you're floating across the floor in it. Love! 4.18.2012
