I adjusted, unhooked, re-hooked, shortened, lengthened,crossed, everything. It's a great tote if that's what you're looking for. 3.23.2013

I purchased this to wear as a backpack and turns out it looks silly as one, the hook that holds the straps is placed too low on the bag, causing it to hang over (the model is even holding it up in the picture). The straps are are not adjustable. If you're looking for a nice leather tote purse, this is for you. If your looking for a backpack to carry heavy books, I'd reconsider. 2.2.2013
