"This does run large...I'm normally a size large, but the medium is roomy. I like the length since I was looking for a sweater that can be a dress also. My only disappointment was that the material did not feel soft and comfy. And I am not super crazy about the white color. If I tried this on in store I would not have bought it, but overall it is good quality."

"As other reviews have said, this sweater is long undoubtedly on the longer side. However, because of this, It can be worn as a dress and when belted, a pretty short dress. Thus, the length is not a problem for me. I can tie it in a knot, like the first picture shown, and it adds a lot of style. I have worn it over dresses, as a dress, over tees with jeans, etc. It's versatility is great and although it is long, I would not say it is HUGE. The sleeves fit according to size and the sweater does not look frumpy whatsoever. The length looks 100% intentional for style purposes. Lovely sweater, GREAT material, very versatile. If you are looking for a sweater that you don't have to tie in a knot for it to be above hips, do not purchase this sweater. If you are looking for an item that is made of great material, stylish, and can be worn many different ways, PURCHASE IT! Totally recommend but it is important to be aware that my particular style works with this sweater's versatility quite well."

"I absolutely love this sweater. In fact, I tried to order a second one today for back-up, but they are out of my size. Be warned that it is HUGE, but I just tuck the front side in to whatever I am wearing. It feels like the coziest blanket ever. And looks adorable."

"My only complaint about this sweater is that it doesn't come in more colors! As for everyone elses complaints about it being too large-yes, it is very big if you wear it loose, no knotting on the side, big enough to wear with a belt and boots as a dress, but once knotted on the side it fits perfectly, and I even had to order a M when I'm a S, because all the other sizes were sold out. If it were too much smaller I wouldn't be able to gather enough material to knot it. I love it, so so cute, wishing I had it in all three colors!"

"yeah this sweater runs big, just size down a size or two. its soo comfortable and more like a dress, can wear with over the knee boots or wedges. I am 5'7 135 and got a small and it fits perfect, you can tie it like shown in the picture!!! new favorite sweater from fp!"

"Normally I wear a xs or s depending on how I want the shirt to fit. I ordered a small becuase xs was out of stock. I am 5'7" and slim and this shirt was HUGE on me. I expected it to be oversized but this was just ridiclous. So I recommend ordering a smaller size or 2 then you normally would for this shirt.
It went about down to my knees and lots of extra fabric bunched up around the armspit area. I tried to do the cute knot aswell, but there was just so much fabric to tie into the knot that it looked stupid.
I also washed it to see if it would shrink but no luck... Looks so cute on the model, maybe if there was xs in stock, it would have been a bit better."

"I am 5'11 and 140lbs and i bought this in navy in large and i was expecting it to be oversized because of all of the other reviews, and oversized (from how the picture makes it look) is an understatement!! This is a dress. And don't get me wrong-i LOVE this sweater but there is no getting around it-it's a dress. It hits me about 6 inches above my knee. And today was the first day i wore and and i got non stop complements all day! i'm in high school and i wore it with brown leather knee high boots with heather grey over the knee socks, and i also wore a back tank top dress under it, because as you can see from the pictures-you need something under it! so if u want it to look like the pictures i would get an extra small-and i don't even know how much smaller that would be, but just be warned... its BIG"
