"Got this ring today - after it was back-ordered - and a processing snafu that delayed shipping by another 2 weeks. Was very excited. But the onyx, instead of being smooth and polished, was horribly scratched - it looked like someone had scraped the stone against a brick.
I took it to a local jeweler who told me it would be pricey to buff-out/fix - almost as much as the ring itself.
Free People has agreed to an exchange, but a ring of this price NEVER should have been sent out looking like this.
On the up side, the detailing is beautiful. I am a size seven and it's a tad loose. Hope the new ring is as pretty as the picture."
