Really nice dress but it's tight and long

"I almost always buy X-Small from Free People but this dress was pretty snug for me. I thought the Small fit a lot more comfortably above the waist.
I'd like to add that the dress was a bit long for me. I'm 5'2" and it went to my knees!
At the end, I ended up returning the X-Small and kept the Small. I just took it to a dressmaker to get it hemmed.
I can't wait to wear it to my friend's destination wedding! I think the dress is suitable for both day and night depending on how you accessorize!"

"I like this as a layering piece more than as a dress. I found the fit to be flattering and the dress is overall well made. The fit for me was TTS, but I'd suggest sizing up if between sizes."

"I absolutely recommend this dress!! I am 5'4" 120 and I got the medium, even though I'm almost always a small in FP. This dress is SO flattering. While it isn't lined, it is a very substantial fabric, so it hides minor imperfections and doesn't cling like some tube dresses. It goes almost to my knees, just like the model, despite my short stature. On sale, this is a steal."
