Quality, style, and workmanship is really excellent. But they were not as "cool" looking as the photos show. Don't get me wrong -- they look good..but they are shinier and much more pointy than what the pics show. The leather wasn't as soft as it says in the description. The red/maroon/burgundy at the toe and back of heel was not nearly as prominent as it shows in the photos. in fact, i think it was hardly noticeable. Also the heels i hard and is not softened by any rubber inserts like they said were in the heel. Overall, they look good. But at $548 (ive never spent so much on shoes before!) they have to be perfect in terms of what im looking for...and they just didnt hit the mark.

I just received these boots today. I as well hesitated due to price. They are worth it. The quality of Italian leather shows true - soft and subtle, and the craftsmanship of high quality. These boots are a conversation piece and will wear and appear as if they were inherited from the 1920s. I purchased the black/berry and was surprised to find the "berry" is much less noticeable than in the photo on the website - it is more a very deep wine. The interior pink is also less "pink" than the photo suggests -- both of these were a plus for me. These boots are a rare find, I think and I would highly recommend them!

The boots are so beautiful I can't stop staring at them. I thought nothing beats my Fiorentini Baker boots...but these ones did! I don't think they run small though. I have wide feet and normally wear size 6.5 for sandal/flats, size 7 for boots, I got these size 37 and they're perfect.

These boots in person are amazing. I scoffed at the price initially but then caved and bought the black/berry boots. My only issue is that I feel these boots run small. I never thought I had wide feet but the size 40 just doesn't work for me. I'm going to try the size 41 and hope for the best.
Rated 5 out of 5Â by Totalmente Not made in China and you know it right away...
This is what I thought when I got the boots. One look, and I knew these were not made in China. Lined with supple leather on the inside and undergone a slight process of distressing on the outside-- this is the new look that I saw in Europe this summer--a vintage look that gives the boot an edge while not making it look ragged. You remain with the feel that you found your great grandfather's booths from the military academy in the attic minus the old musty smell... Those run true to size, which for my moderately wide feet means, 9 US=40 European. The only slight problem that I encountered was putting them on; the curved zipper gives me a bit of a hassle when putting on the boots.

Boots are true to size. I wear a size 7, at times 7.5 and these fit perfectly. Excellent workmanship. Worth every dollar!
I also like the name of boots. Boots should had been be called 'King Henry IX' for Prince Harry whose real name IS: HENRY.
