Satisfied but not crazy about them yet, if they last wait til they go on sale. The brown is prettier in person.

I have been on a hunt for the perfect ankle boots for quite some time now.. Figured out pretty quickly that Jeffrey Campbell was probably going to be my best bet. These boots are exactly what I was looking for in the way of overall shape, stylistic elements and heel height. Yes,they run very small. (I normally wear an 8 and got the 9, which were still a tad snug in the toe area but are breaking in very well.) and yes, I have already had the same issue as others have with one of the small loops that house the strap coming loose already. So I will agree that for the price, I have been a bit disappointed in the overall quality, and that they were not distressed upon arrival. However, I was willing and would be again to pay the price for these due to the impeccable, unique style. They are very flattering with shorts and give just the right amount of b-a with skinny jeans. Sexy and different! Worth every penny in my book, despite the drawbacks.

I have been obsessed with these for a few months now. I LOVE ankle boots. I went with what others were saying about sizing up, so I went with a 7 (that was also the only size that they had at the time) Normally I am a 6. They are a lot more pointy at the toe than i expected, and It is kind of a big chunky ankle boot. They do NOT come distressed. I will be returning them.

Out of the box, these (black) boots do not have the rustic-distressed look as pictured. As a matter of fact, until I have 'broken these in' they will continue to bring me buyer's remorse. The size 10s--I'm usually an 8.5B--are SHORT and TIGHT, especially the left boot which has a raised seam on the inside heel area that gave me a huge blister after a couple of hours of wear--with footies! In that same time frame, 2 of the tiny vertical straps,--there are 12 total-- that secure the larger buckle strap, snapped off at the top metal pin and are hanging on by the bottom pin! For the price of the boot, no way that should of happened. Also, the metal buckles and pins appear silver in the pic, but are a brass color. Love the height of the heel. As the boots stretch out, I'm sure they will become my favorites, but we're off to a rough start.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by katieanne amazing everyday boots.
after being surprised with an added $92 customs bill, i thought to myself that these boots better be worth it. they ARE!!! i love them. yes, they are more of a true black then pictured, but i look forward to distressing them myself over time. i am consistently a size 8 and i find these very true to size. being leather they will stretch out. certainly they are a "tad" tight, but they are brand new and that is to be expected. i almost ordered a size up after reading all of the reviews, but i am glad i stuck to old faithful #8. my ONLY irritation with these boots are that the tiny snaps that keep the buckles attached to the boot have been snapping off. i have been able to easily snap them back on, but still... slightly annoying as i have worn them twice. and truthfully they arrived that way. and for that reason alone i have to give them a 4 star instead of a 5. today i wore them with the FP voile trapeze slip, cropped sweater, a vintage rhinestone collar and over the knee socks.

Went as size up as others have stated and they fit perfect! Agree that mine are black and not distressed. My concern however; seems that the heel was cut too low for the sole- I get a "pad-dah" heel-toe experience when I walk- like perhaps the arch is broken in two (but it's not). But- they look great so I'm keeping them and have worn 3 times in a month already.

i followed the description and reviews and sized up. it still has quite a bit of toe room, but it's not big enough to be loose so i guess it does run a bit small. like other reviews stated, there's very little distressing on them. the boots are a bit more pointy than i realized. they seem comfy enough. my biggest issue is that one of the studs by the buckles was missing, so i have to send it back and now it's out of stock in my size. boo.
Rated 3 out of 5Â by fmseven Small and Colour Not As Pictured
The boots that I received were black and not as distressed as pictured. As most other reviewers have mentioned, these boots run small. I normally wear size 6 1/2 and go up to 7 if the boots come in whole sizes only. On the recommendation of the customer service rep, I ordered a size 7. My left foot is about 1/2 size smaller than my right foot. The left boot is actually shorter in length than the right boot. When walking in these boots, there is less room for my toes in the left boot and my big toe touches the end of the boot. The right boot is more comfortable to walk in because it is slightly larger than the left boot. Despite this discrepancy, I decided to keep the boots because I like the style and it would be too expensive to mail back. I have worn the boots out and my feet don't hurt from wearing them but I could have used more room in the toe area. I don't know if going up to a size 8 would have helped because I think they would have been too loose in the heel. I will probably get the left boot stretched.
