"I am of petite stature (5'2, 105 pounds). I was concerned about the kimono coming in only one size, but it wasn't an issue. Sizing was fine.
The fabric is a see-through black with velvet flowery designs. It just doesn't look that elegant on. The fabric makes the style of the kimono look even more sleepyish. Doesn't look elegant/dressy enough to wear outside, and this item isn't one I'd buy to only wear inside/to sleep. All kimonos are thin, yes, but the design of the fabric makes it look like it was just cut out of a tablecloth. It cheapens any nice outfit you have on.
Sorry =( Really wanted to like it, but it was returned. Don't waste your money on shipping/taxes."

"Like the previous reviewers, I was excited too for this kimono. I ordered the one in black and it is just too shiny and cheap looking, especially for the price so I ended up returning it. Came with a tie as well, more like a robe...Just isn't for me."

"i never own a kimono before~ so, i was pretty nervous to ordering it! and finally i received it after 1 month~ when i pull it out i feel kind of funny with this kimono.. it looks like a night gown cover! but, after i try a few layering idea i fall in love with the looks! very unique n versatile piece~ it can goes with lots of outfit! this is def something i'd never try before! thanks to FP let me getting more different looks in my life!! <3"

"I just got my Silk Kimono and i LOVE it! =D the fit is amazing, and i think the fabric is very nice - very lightweight and delicate. It also has a soft sheen to it that catches the light nicely. Very true to picture and detailing in photos... Super happy with my purchase! =D <3"

"but upon arrival I was greatly disappointed. It's not even made by Free people... the material feels cheap and it felt more like a robe then a kimono jacket. Definitely not worth the $100+... going back :("
