wonderful piece but needs ironing

"I absolutely loved this romper. The reason I am using past-tense is because I machine-washed in cold (as instructed on tags), left to air dry, and it shrunk to the point where it got a wee bit too tight for me to wear again :( Another negative is it definitely needs ironing. But it was absolutely adorable while it lasted, I didn't have to wear a bra underneath, it is so comfortable, and the beading detailing in the front with the crochet is such a gem. To give a better idea on size, I am 5'5" 120 lbs 34A and size 0 fit perfectly before it was washed. I probably should have gotten the size 2."

"I was super excited to order this, but it fell short... the top is extremly large... i was hoping for a better fit, but i will have to get the straps tailored as they are so long the barly cover my chest. the bottom is wonderful and the beads go down to the bottom of the skirt... Would love if the top was a bit more fitted, but it will work. Paired it with a gold belt and wedges and was ready to roll!!!"

"Other reviewers have said that the color is darker in person but mine is pretty much the same color. It also fits my frame well enough, I'm 5'5" and 115 lbs and I bought a size 0. The skirt falls to where it does on the model. For me finding a bra to wear with it is difficult because I have to keep making sure it isn't visible anywhere. If any of the beads fall off it comes with extra to sew on. Even so I don't regret buying it at all, I love it."

"The most disappointing thing about this romper is the color. It is much darker than in the picture and not at all electric blue like I'd thought. In addition the beads all look like they are on the verge of falling off. I got the xs and am 5'7 and the fit looks ok, but would look better on someone shorter with small hips since the bottom flares out a little bit too much. Despite all my complaints, it is still a pretty cute design. I would recommend getting the "Summer Day Solid Romper" instead, as it is pretty similar in style, but with better color and fit."

"I ordered this once it went on sale, sooo happy! The cerulean blue is gorgeous, a little darker than the photo but looks great.
The top is a little big, but that probably has to do with my body shape, other than that it fits perfectly in all the right places.
Finally a classes romper that looks awesome. I highly recommend this piece."

Odd Fit

"I ordered two rompers from FP. I loved my other one, came in S,M,L and I got the medium & it fit perfect. I got an 8 in this blue romper (a bit bigger for me b/c sometimes FP runs small). Im 5'7 and 130lbs. The romper fit great, a bit loose but at the top, it BARELY covered my breasts! My side breasts were almost completely exposed. In the picture, this models fit goes from arm put to armpit across. (As it should). Also, the butterfly looking lace at the top was uneven & slouchy. It draped down on one side. I tried readjusting the straps in the back to straighten out the front, but I think it is just a poor sewing job. I was pretty upset that my $128 couldnt get me a properly fitted outfit. I would recommend other items from them tho. So I wouldnt say FP is bad, just this romper needs some help in the tailoring dept."

"I have been talking about this romper since I found it two weeks ago. When my UPS tracker informed me that it had finally arrived I could hardly wait to get home.
When I opened the package, I definitely squealed. The fabric is so soft, the quality is exceptional. It's a great item of clothing... IF IT FIT.
I ordered a size 0. I am 5'3 and 108 lbs and this thing might fit me if I were 5'5 and 120 lbs. The skirt came down almost to my knees and there was at least three inches of extra material in the waste. (Don't be mad, I'm not even that skinny.)
Let me just tell you, I AM DEVASTATED especially since there is nothing smaller than this so called 0. I am also wondering if I can even wear any other Free People clothing (this was my first experience with them other than shirts and scarves).
Guess I'll just have to find something else to wear with the pixie dust glitter I bought for this."

"Looks exactly like the picture. I just LOVE the color!! perfect for spring and summer. I can't wait to wear it out!! The bottom part is flowy, so it almost looks like you're wearing a dress or something. It's very comfortable too!!"
