"I bought this dress to wear to a concert and was very pleased with the way it looked. The color is a beautiful vibrant shade of red and the details are stunning. However, the material is so delicate and sheer that it is easily torn. As I got up to leave the concert I felt two holes, which at first I thought were pockets, but then as I stood up to leave, I realized that the dress had torn in two places as a result of my purse being in my lap. I would love to own this dress again, but am a gun shy because of the fragilness of the material - and it's not exactly bargain priced!"

"I tried this dress on at the 5th Ave. NYC store. This dress is so soft and so pretty and the color is very nice and rich. Really makes you feel pretty. I love all the detail and soft ruffles. I did not give it 5 stars simply because even with the lining, it's pretty sheer. I'd probably wear it as a tunic instead of a dress. Also, the way the inner slip is attached for presentation makes it difficult to try on without getting it all tangled up. However, once purchased, you can easily cut the extra strings and just use the convenient snaps to hold the slip in place, making it easier to get off and on. I appreciate that the slip has adjustable straps."

"I thought this dress would be more substantial, but it was dissapointingly thin and whispy looking. It had lose threads and the colour and material were not what I expected. Some girls would probably pull this off really well - just not me.
As for size, it seemed to fit as other have said (a bit small). I ordered a small (usually order xs) and it fit fine."

"I originally ordered this dress to wear during the holidays. It was backordered so I didn't receive it until after the New Year. I was a little disappointed in the material. It is delicate and the edges were a little tattered. For the price, I can't justify keeping it. I ended up purchasing the Miles of Lace dress which is fabulous!"

"I just received this dress through the mail today! The color is beautiful and intense in person. I originally wanted a medium size but at the time FP was out so I ordered a small size. The sheer dress fits me perfectly but the under slip was a tad bit too short. Unfortunately, it wasn't as stunning on me like on the model so I am returning it back. I wasn't fond of the ruffle and stripe detailing but the embroidery gives it a nice touch."

"i'm usually a S or a M in freepeople and in these types of dresses (loose fitting) i always order a S. well if i wasn't so lazy i would exchange it for a medium because S is SMALL. i couldn't wear the provided built in slip with it because it just made it even shorter and too tight across my 36c chest. i instead wore a body hugging black one under it. it looks really cute on. i wore it with knee high boots out one day and two different sets of people nudged each other to tell them to take a look at me, so i guess it captures attention. hopefully the nudging was a good thing, haha. (btw i'm not that vain that i think everyone is staring at me. my boyfriend saw the nudging too and we laughed about it)"
