Love these boots, so super cute!! They will be great in the rain and cold.

Really cute and warm. I own several pair of Sorel Cate the Great and Joan of Arctics, both of which come in whole sizes only, and I have generally learned to size down rather than up so I ordered these in the 8 (I'm 8.5 in almost every brand of shoe). The 8 fits well, snug so there is no slipping within the boot or gaping of the shaft of the boot near the ankle, which is what I experienced when I went with size 9s in the other Sorel styles. For me these fit perfect because I do not live in an excessively cold environment so I will not wear an excessively thick sock with them, however, I do feel the Cate of Alexandria fit a tiny but snugger than the other two styles I own and if you intend to wear really heavy socks, it seems like they could feel tight. With a normal boot sock though, they fit great. I highly recommend these and the Joan of Arctics, really cute style, warm, and comfortable; and the Cate of Alexandria has a much more modest fur trim if you're getting tired of all the "boots with the fur."
