LOVE!!!!!
5.17.2012-
"words cannot say how much I love this boots! they are fan-flipping-tastic... the colors are great and weatherproofing is really well done. I ordered a half size up to allow for socks but they don't really need it since they are so well lined. They feel warmer than my snowmobiling boots, can't wait for snow this year."

runs big so order one-size small!

"I originally ordered Joan of Arctic in my usual size 9 but it was one size too big - like wearing a boat! The Shale-color in size 8 was out so I ordered Cate the Great in size 8 instead and it fits great! I am able to fit a pair of winter socks comfortably. I believe the leather in Cate is softer than and not as stiff as Joan, although the suede will probably soften with additional wears. Also the look on Cate is not as bulky as Joan. All in all, a good buy esp at sales price. The leather on pewter seems a tad bit lighter than pictured but it doesn't bother me. Very good quality leather. I haven't tested the cold and rain factors yet but so far it feels warm wearing around the house. High recommend this product!"

worth the money!
1.31.2012-
"I bought these for a birthday present for myself. I thought they were a bit expensive, but I really liked them on line and have been eying them up for over a year. When I opened the box I was thrilled that they are as awesome in person as they are pictured on line. The leather is so soft, and the laces and fur at the top give them an added cool factor. I sized down as others suggested. At first i thought they were a bit snug, but have molded to my feet perfectly, I have worn them a ton already, and receive many compliments on them. So glad I made this purchase!"

ADORABLE! WARM! WATERPROOF!
1.18.2012-
"LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots! Although they are wide, I found that lengthwise, they run true to size, and I wear them barefoot. I actually sized up a size in case I need to wear socks. So far, I haven't had to, but we're having an usually mild winter in the northeast. I got the tusk color, and they are just the cutest winter boots I've ever had. I love the unique details, I love the color (love the distressed look), the stitching. I like everything about this boots, and recommend them highly. They are higher priced than many Sorel styles, but if you can afford them they're really worth it."

Snowrific... I mean terrific!
12.11.2011-
"These boots are pretty much fantastic. I tired the pewter in a 10 and LOVED them. The length hit a few inches below my knees at 5'9". These boots are extremely warm, durable, funky, and functional. They are the top of the line when you want warm dry feet in the winter. They were a little big on me, but nothing a pair of thick socks can't fix. All in all, VERYYY happy!"

boots that can take you anywhere
12.6.2011-
"Usually I split not only my time, but my style between the distant worlds of Alaska and New York City. My city shoe needs are based on style with the caveat of walking comfort while my Alaskan footwear needs to be extremely durable for treks through the woods and preferably waterproof (fast fact: much of Alaska is actually rainforest). These boots transcend these usual limitations with their unbelievable comfort (like a sleeping bag/pillow strapped to your foot) combined with a beautiful and durable leather exterior. The fact that they're warm to minus 25 degrees waterproof doesn't hurt either.
I switched out the standard liners (although I feel some would like it, I'm not a fan of the fake fur ruff), modified the lacing, and mink oiled the heck out of the leather (the stock finish is very distressed and looks a little dry, I wanted a deeper brown- easily achieved with mink oil). My only words of warning- if you get the Tusk color the cream tongue needs a good work over with a suede eraser every couple weeks to keep grime from dulling the look, and if you look up Sorel sizing you'll see that you should always size down- they run roomy to begin with and the liners will loosen up as they conform to your feet.
These boots accomplish any task better than I could have imagined, whether keeping my feet from freezing while I'm out getting firewood or perfectly matching FP's Suede Racerback Tank Dress for a wintry day about New York. Best of all, with Sorel's legendary quality of construction I'm sure that this exception to "too-good-to-be-true" will continue to add delight to my days for years to come."

BUY THESE AND CONQUER THE SNOW!
12.4.2011-
"I got these (not from FP) last December and after wearing them all winter long I can safely say that they are fantastic! They are truly warm waterproof outdoor winter boots, you really can go trekking through the snow in them and stay warm and dry. Not only that, they are totally adorable and I get compliments whenever I wear them. The laces adjust quite a bit so jeans can be tucked in, but I've also worn them with leggings and a dress and it didn't look ridiculous at all! That said, they are big clunky boots, so be prepared for that look. Definitely size down if you are in between sizes, I'm usually an 8.5 and the 8 fits with room for thick socks."
