"This is a pretty funky shoe! I particularly like the pleated leather and the cuffed ankle, although as previous reviewers noted, the underside of the cuff is the wool-like fabric and not leather. As for fitting, I'd say they're pretty true to size. I'm typically a solid size 9, however the last pair available was a 9.5, thus, I couldn't pass up the sale (especially since I had been eyeing these since they arrived; really wish I would've moved on the taupe pair!). The 9.5 is slightly roomy, but workable. Nonetheless, quite comfy for a 5" heel shoe."

Very hip shoes, a little snug

"The moment I saw these booties, I knew they'd be on my feet--they scream "Star Trek" meets "Saturday Night Fever." The architectural design is unique--very Frank Lloyd Wright--especially the wooden wedge heel, and I really admire the mixed materials in use (FYI, the underside of the flip-top is the felt material, not leather as shown in the photo). I purchased these in a size 10, and in the taupe/ gray color option. Since the shoes are slip-ons, they can be a little snug in the arch--for me the right shoe was snug getting it on my foot, whereas the left shoe slid on with a little more ease--but once they're on your foot, it's not bad at all, and they're fairly comfortable to walk in. The 5" heel is impressive, and these booties look great with a pair of jeans. I'd recommend them, but would suggest getting them a size larger, if possible."

"These boots are really unique. They are small in the sense that u need a shoe horn to get them on almost bc the back part of the boot is tight.... but once u get them on they r fine. I got the taupe color and I wanted to wear them flipped up, but the under side is grey fabric, not the brown leather like pictured. They look better folded over now that I don't have leather on the underside. I would recommend these but get a half size up."

"i just bought these and feel the sale price is affordable for such a sexy shoe. they're very comfortable and easy to walk in especially considering their height. They go well with just about anything from shorts to jeans. I would definitely recommend these shoes."

"Talk about fierce and chic!! Ordered my regular size (9) and they fit like a glove. No problems with the opening as described by another reviewer. To be so high, they are pretty comfortable. Love them. These will be my favorite pair of booties this winter! The price is reasonable as they are soft and well made! I highly recommend."
