"I got the brown leather pair as a gift and love them! They are perfect for snowy Colorado winters. They are very warm and grip well on ice. They do feel a little big, I am normally a shoe size eight, but the extra room isn't anything that bothers me. As for the color, the brown leather color combo is excellent, the leather is slightly distressed, love it!"

"When I ordered these shoes I was unfamilar with Sorel, and I was anticipating a pair of casual and cute boots with a slight rustic flare. When they came in the mail I was floored. These boots are far from your every day shoe, they are huge, insulated (they have a felt lining--which make them super hard to take off!), and extremely waterproof! I was not looking for that when I purchased these, so I think I'm going to return them :( However, if you want some cute (albeit a tad manly) and very weather resistant shoes (the item name does not lie), these are the ones for you."

Awesome boots

"Really adorable, fun boots. I've only had them two weeks, but they seem extremely durable, comfortable and warm. I'm usually a 6.5-7, but ordered a 6 (after reading reviews) and it fit just perfectly (exactly perfectly with one pair of socks -2 socks would be a squeeze!). I do wear them to walk my dogs and more mundane walking tasks, though I don't think they're designed for that... I change my shoes to drive because the sturdiness of the shoe keeps the foot at a 90 angle or less (no obtuse angles permitted) - so pressing down on the accelerator with my toes is not so easy. Anyway, these are great shoes and I look forward to many years with them!"

warmness to the Max!

"One less star for this one because it takes a while to break these shoes in. I've worn them a few times and they are still a little rigid, but I know that in time these boots will be perfetto! They keep my feet super warm and they are so comfortable that I really don't feel cold when I put these on. I live in a place where the weather is starting to get a little bit chilly so I guarantee that these will keep you warm and fashionable too. As for size I went with my usual size and the fit was great- a little bt loose which meant that there was enough room for thick winter socks."

"I originally ordered the lead gray in a 9, even though I'm an 8.5. I should have listened to the other reviews because they were way too big! I decided to trek to a store and try on the 8 but they only had the cappuccino color. Turns out I loved that color even more and the 8 was perfect!! I do think that the oiled leather on the cappuccino boots looks much nicer than the canvas on the others and I got compliments on them as soon as I wore them out! So warm and comfy, I couldn't be happier!!"

"I knew as soon as I saw these boots I had to own them. I waited patiently for them to arrive and when they did I was NOT disappointed in the slightest! I purchased the Green style and the color is an identical match to the picture. I am usually a size 6.5 and went with the 6 which was a good choice, they couldn't fit any better. There is a wonderful 'felt' insert that locks the heat in and I couldn't be happier about these adorable boots!"

"I just received these boots yesterday and was so excited to open the box but to my dismay they were not what was pictured as far as colour. I ordered the lead grey color but in person its more of a light light soft celedon. The leather that appears to b a rich,beautiful tan color is not. Its very light in color. The enitre boot, i would say, is more monotone than the varying tones pictured on line. The fit is made a little large and wide. I have a very narrow foot so even with a thick sock would still be loose. They need to make half sizes. The 6 is too short but better in width and the 7 is too large and wide. I had to return them. I wish the color would have been close to what was pictured, I would have dealt with the width issue but I hated the color. I hope this is helpful."
