Fantastic look, but flares out at bottom

"I absolutely love the top half of this shirt. Gorgeous victorian style. However the bottom part is really large and flares out, making the piece as a whole look really strange. Also, note that the buttons in the back make it hard to put on/take off."

"I instantly fell in love with this top when I first saw it here on the website.. (along with a lot of other pieces),.. though I must say that this was probably the most beautiful piece of them all in my opinion! It is, as people have mentioned, quite short.. but I dont mind, I think the detailed neck make up for it :) I chose the royal blue, and I'm considering it to be quite upscale for everyday use.. I'm a S/M but only XS was available, but I believe it to run quite large.. Anyway, I'm very pleased, and though it came out to be rather expensive shipping and custom-fees all the way to Sweden it was very much worth it :)"

Great Unique Piece!

"I just got this in the mail today & I love it! After reading the reviews, I was hesitant, but when I saw it was almost out of stock, I decided to take a chance & I'm so glad I did! This was definitely a worthwhile investment! It's a unique style & great quality. It is very thin, which makes it see-through, but the fabric doesn't feel cheap - it actually feels very soft & comfy against the skin. Also, the cap sleeves don't "poof" in any way - they lay on your arms like the on the model. The only thing I agree with as far as other reviews is that there's a funky flare at the hips that makes a girl look very pear shaped, so this is something that will either need to be tucked in or worn untucked with a fitted skirt. All in all a gorgeous piece that can be dressed up or down! (Just make sure to wear a cami underneath!) :) SIZE: I chose a size Medium & I'm usually in between a small & medium...The fit feels perfect, so I think a small would have felt a little too tight in the bust area. My measurements are 34B, 28, 37 & I'm 5'5" & about 125 lbs..."

"This is really beautiful. I read some of the reviews how the lace around the shoulders look awkward and held off buying this garment. But when it went on sale thought I would give it a try. Glad I did because it is very beautiful. The lace, or ruffles rather, around the shoulders lay flat against your arm. So there really isn't any puffiness. I have broad shoulders and cannot wear clothing that will accentuate the width of my shoulders. If this top did, I would have shipped it back. Bought a large and fits fine. Medium is my typical size but a medium would have been too snug."

Adorable Victorian

"I have been eyeing this shirt since day one. I wanted it SO BAD, but it was also too expensive to rationalize at full price... so I waited, and snapped it up when it went on sale. This shirt is wonderful! I am somewhat tall (5'9") with gangly arms, and the sleeves go right to my wrists and stay there. The little cap sleeves are a little weird at first, but the fabric is light enough that I don't think they're unflattering (but if you are self-conscious about your shoulders, keep them in mind). The lace part is a bit low-cut, so it's a little difficult to find things to wear under it as the solid material is quite see-through. I suppose you could wear a nude bra... but I feel awkward doing that when it's transparent enough to make out my belly-button, which you definitely can. I didn't have any problems with weirdness in cut, although I did notice there was a bit extra in the back (as you can see on the model). I don't think that's a deal-breaker, though! If you have even thought about getting this shirt, GET IT!"

"I ordered this top and when it arrived I checked it for flaws, didnt notice any so I took the tags off and hung it in my closet. A few days later I put it on and there was not only one hole but TWO under the right breast area! Too late to send it back!"

Comfortable Sexy Victorian Style

"I love my new FP top! It's as comfortable as any long sleeve cotton tee but there the similarities end. I didn't find the top sheer at all, admittedly I am about 102 lbs and 5' 3". This piece fit beautifully, and didn't sag or bag by the day's end as so many cotton knits do. It's sexy and form fitting but in the subdued color it doesn't scream for attention. I can dress it up with a skirt and high boots or down with tight jeans and flats. Love it at this price!"
