It's a shame that pfreckles had a bad encounter with these jeans and it almost turned me off but I went ahead and purchased them. I am usually size 28 so went up a size to 29 for a slouchy fit. They are exactly as I had hoped. They still would have been a good fit at size 28. My only cons would be they are very long and do not taper at all at the bottom so there is a lot of material to roll up for the 'boyfriend' look, and the colour is way lighter than the picture. Overall I am happy with them.

I loved the way these jeans looked from the moment they were posted. I'm also a regular customer of the Free People website and have never had issues with any of their products. That said, I don't know if I got the wrong pair of jeans but these are definitely not the ones pictured on the website. I am 5'6 108 pounds and usually a 25 in free people jeans. I ordered these in size 26 as to allow a looser fit and oh surprise when I tried them on they fit like skinny jeans!! They are unusually tight around the thighs and knees (and loosen from there downward)!! These are not described or pictured as having a skinny or tight fit on the website, in fact, they give the idea to be a tad loose based on the picture and the fact that they are titled "menswear". Apart from the sizing issue the patch in this pair of jeans is awful!! The patch is cheap and poorly done and the colour is way off ( not in a good way). If you're expecting something that remotely looks like the jean on the website don't bother with these. If you still would like to get them, i suggest you try them on in the store first ( which many international customers can't do!) The worst part is I can't return them because to send them back to the US would cost more than the jean itself (which by the looks of should cost far less). Sorry Free People, not a good job on this one.

I was really looking forward to receiving these darling jeans. Alas! I am too curvy for the cut of these boyfriend jeans.
These would be absolutely a knockout on a more willowy figure.... Great style, cut, denim and quality.
