"I love these pants! The fit is about the same as fp skinny jeans, but with less stretch. I bought a 27 which is my usual size, and they fit me exactly right. The colour of the 'weather combo' is a little darker in person, still looks great! It's such a funky pattern - just unique enough! And they're really soft.. awesome for sale price."

"I purchased the weather combo color and found that it is much darker in person and more of an olive green. They fit pretty well, though - my hips are about 38" and my drop waist is about 33-34" and the 29 works just fine. A tad loose on the hips, but I prefer my pants to be a little looser fitting anyway."

"Thank god I didn't end up buying these online! I decided to go into a Free People boutique and try on the red (the ones I had been eyeing) before investing money. I tried on my usual 27 and they were so small that I could not even get them over my hips. "Okay, no big deal," I thought, "They just run small." So I went to try on a 28. Not only was the 28 too loose around the waist, it was FALLING OFF my hips. I was really sad too. The red are so gorgeous in person. I have heard people complain about Free People's sizing recently and now I truly understand. Seriously Free People, get it together!!!!!"

"I was debating buying these online because for me sometimes with pants sizing is a bit tricky and then I happened to go into an FP store and was able to try them on. My usual size fit perfectly. I actually think these look better in person. I got the scarlet color and I love them! It actually was a hard choice between the colors because the weather color was beautiful, too, but they are a bit brighter. I love that you can make these very feminine with lacy tops or sweaters or a grunge look with t-shirts and tanks. Something a little different to add to the wardrobe and a great buy!"

"The pants are exactly as they appear online....I am confused by the previous reviewer having an issue with the colors or what exactly that means?? These are funky and different. Pair these with a plain tee. You can dress these up or down. They are perfect for everyday and even work. The patter is part of the material and not painted or anything which is awesome. I got the "weather combo". They fit exactly the same as the original cords for the most part and are a lil on the smaller side but not enough to size down. I can't comment on the quality yet. I am hoping the knee area and creases behind the knee to fade from walking like the plain do. I also really wish FP would go back to CLOTH inside sizing tags circa 2008. These sticker iron on tags come off when you wear, peel up and you wash them once that it shrivels up and sticks to you. I am surprised no one ever mentions this. I honestly am not interested in buying FP bottoms becomes of the inside size tags."

"I purchased the scarlet and it is more of a dull carnation pink. It would be nice if Freepeople didn't try to intensify colors on select items to make a product more appealing. The corduroy effect is nice but disappointing nonetheless for its dullness. Will be returning them."
