"Although I like the look of the dress in the photos, it was a little cheaper looking in real life. I'm 5'8", 34C, and 140 lbs. I typically wear a small in FP, but this was a tight in the chest and arms and a little too roomy in the waist."
"Never ordered a long dress that was long enough before always too short! My first! Great lenght, hurray! if you are tall 5 feet 8 and above don't wait you will love it. I am very happy with my purchase."
"I'm 5' 7", 155 lbs with a very long torso and tend to fall between M and L in most dresses so I ordered a medium black and large olive. The large was quite loose from the bust to the hips and the medium fit like a glove. Both seemed a bit long, but the medium shrank in length just enough after the first washing that I didn't have to hem it. This is possibly the most flattering dress (the medium) I've ever had. I returned the large olive for a medium blue (olive was sold out -- sad!)."
"I thought this dress would swallow me, but it is gorgeous! It's extremely flattering. It gives a really nice, hourglass shape. I am 5'6" and 125 lb and the Small fit me perfectly. It also wasn't too long. I wear it with boots that are about 2 inches tall and it's perfect. Love this dress! It's so comfy and a beautiful staple for the winter!"
"Got this in Olive, Size Small. I'm 5'10, 34/36B & 150lbs...I normally wear a size small in FP tops. I LOVE this dress. It flatters my figure in all the right places. The fabric is so comfy cozy, makes me want to snuggle up by the fire with a cup of tea after a walk in the brisk fresh air of the farmer's market on the coast. I'm so excited to see they've added another color. Such a great deal for such a great price. A great Cotte for Renaissance Faire goers. If you've got the crochet cuff henley, I suggest ordering that same size. For an even more medieval look, add a lacy crop underneath!"
"I got this dress in black and I'm pretty happy with my purchase. The quality of the material is quite good, and the dress is shaped nicely - it flares out starting from your natural waist, giving a nice, hourglass shape. I'm usually a size M in FP, so I got this in M and it fit me fine. It's pretty unforgiving, though - a flat tummy, either a natural or a spanx-aided one, is a must for this garment. Some reviewers mentioned using it as a nightshirt, but for me, the material is way too thick and the sleeves - too tight to sleep in. The fabric is not light and airy, like with most night clothes - it's definitely an early spring/autumn cooler weather item.
I have one reservation, though - I think the original price was a bit too steep. When I bought the dress in store, the tag was marked at $52 - it's a pity that the dress didn't go on sale online."
"I love the look of this dress and in spite of my concern that it would be a bit too clingy for my less than perfect 54 year old body, I went for it. The detailing helps to minimize imperfections and although it does run long, it was easy to shorten. I kept the trimmed section to use as a hair wrap. Also, I like that the neckline can be sexy or demure with just a few buttons. Fun & practical!"
