"Let me preface by saying that 108 dollars is steep for this item. However, it is a really cool and comfortable dress. I usally wear an XS to S in Free People clothing, but I also like the fit to be very snug. In this dress, unless you have a perfect body, I would recommend sizing up one size. The medium still fits around my shape but its not too tight as to reveal every imperfection in the waist area. This is basically like a really long T-Shirt and its is somewhat sheer, so I wear a body sheath or romper underneath mine. The slit up the side gives so much extra mobility that you don't usually get from maxi dresses and it adds a little sexy appeal as well. My only big complaint is about the neck of the dress...without sleeves, the neckline really crumples around the neck. Sleeves allow your shoulders to give that pull that fans the fabric out around the neckline, but without that I'm afraid it gets a little bunchy. I kept trying to spread the neckline out further so it wouldn't look so awkward, but no such luck. I'm probably going to keep the dress because it its uniqueness. Its really cool overall, just a bit pricey. Only buy if you have the money to burn."
"I tried this dress on in the store in both size s, and M...ended up getting the medium for a little extra space. Im 5'3/100 pounds and just wanted the extra space to chase my one year old around in. I think the dress fits TTS but a little snug in the hip area if you have them. Getting the Medium did give more slouch in the arm area but i just wear a really cute bra that i dont mind others seeing and usually get lots of compliments when i wear it! since i got a bigger size it is a little long but i might end up cutting some off the bottom to make it fit perfect!"
"Just got this on sale in the store... $29.95, can't beat that. I'm thin and 5'9 and it makes me look taller somehow, despite the horizontal stripes. Love it. Can't wait for summer."
"This dress walks a really interesting line between sexy and comfy which is why I like it so much! I actually really love the slit because it enhances mobility. The slit is only on one side and creates the most alluring visual when walking down the street. But this dress is really comfy. I got my usual size and it fits perfectly. I would recommend against sizing up because if you do, you'll have major side boob issues because of the way the top half of the dress is cut. I wore mine with boots and the Caldra pullover sweater and it looked amazing. Got a ton of compliments in it."
"I love this dress!!! Would size up - I got M and am 129lbs/34c/5.5. The dress is very soft and comfy but hits the sexy spots right on like said by other reviewers. I have the black, not that much see thru but I am using it with a bra - which shows a little. why not?"
"I'm not sure what body this looks good on. Even the model looks chubby in the dress. Look at the black dress and the second picture. The model looks wider than she is, and the dress makes her rear look awful. You can't wear a maxi column dress if you have ANY curve. I don't have much curve and this looked bad on me. Part of it is I'm short, so I think the horizontal stripes, and long skinny dress made for a bad combination. Part of it is the material is tissue thin and clingy as all get out. /shrug, I didn't think this was thrilling. I'd say to size up to avoid unflattering clingy-ness. I seem to be alone in that assessment though."
"I recently purchased the Rust color in an XS. I'm 5'4" and 110 lbs. unlike other fp items, the length was spot on. Also, I think the sexiest thing about this dress is the inevitable "side boob" obtained. That said, this dress is for the more adventurous! I did not find the dress see-through at all, and living in Arizona, felt no need to add a sweater (especially when that covers the sexiest feature of the dress). It's timeless because it's like a Ramones T-Shirt, you will always have a chance to wear it! I plan on pairing it with an anthro belt, some black boots (a cheaper version of what's pictured), and a long necklace. I'm going to a fancy dinner tonight and unlike the little corset/bodycon dressed ladies (no hating), I'm excited to wear something that's sexy, sassy, and that shows my assets without appeaing too skankified. Thanks fp!"
"I love WTF dress! They always fit so well and this is no exception! This dress really compliments your shape. Skinny or curvaceous, this will fit almost anyone well. I have the black which has the most vibrant cobalt blue accents. The horizontal stripes and front graphic really give interest w/o adding weight to your frame. The racer back is just as sexy as the front. The fabric has a bit of stretch and is a soft cotton. The side slit is made for walking, but comes in handy if you want to tie it on the side to feature a slip or leggings underneath. The length hits me (5'9 sz small) as it does the model. Effortlessly sexy, casual style! Layer underneath to wear year round."
