I have been eyeing this dress for a while now and came upon one in a store last week so I was able to try it on. Unfortunately the dress runs small but fortunately I was able to order a size up on line. Generally I buy L in FP and sometimes a M depending on the fit and size of the item or a size 10 for the numbered sizes. For this dress I had to go to a size 12 as the rib cage was just meant for a smaller frame on the size 10.
I was worried that the top would be too large in the breast area but it wasn't so I imagine large breasted girls would have a hard time with this dress. I'm a 36B and the 12 worked for me. Fabulous flow of the skirt area and a flattering bodice make this my 'go to' dress for a fall or winter party

This dress is by far more beautiful in person than in the pictures online! The material is very thick and the dress is made exceptionally well! The word candy in the name means there are many colors in the dress, not just gray. There are blues pinks and I think even some yellow! I LOVE this dress, but it doesn't love my rib cage! I'm 5'7" 145 athletic build. I ordered an 8 and honestly it was a little big around the stomach, but it was tight tight around my rib cage. So tight that I wouldn't be able to sit comfortably for a long time. If you are a professional, this is the winter dress to have. I would have sown a hem at the bottom, thrown on a black suit jacket, black tights and boots and VOILA a suit for court! I thought about taking the dress to my seamstress, but it's so well made and the zipper is so well reinforced, she would have charged me more than normal to take out the bodice and reel in the stomach! Overall, if you have a smaller rib cage, GET THIS DRESS!

This dress is incredible! The fabric has really good movement even though it is a tad bit of a heavier weight. The colors are gorgeous, just as pictured. It fits TTS and the length hits me as it does the model (I'm 5'9) I love the contrast of menswear fabric and feminine lines. Will be beautifully paried with boots or platforms. Would even be cute with a t-shirt layered underneath for a more casual look. A Fall must have!

I debated for awhile about ordering this dress because I wasn't entirely sure I would have a good use for it but thought it was very interesting so I finally ordered it. I have to agree with other reviewers that the fit is very specific which I expected given the type of fabric and how it appears to fit in the photos. I am 5'4", 115lbs, bust 34B-C depending on the bra, waist 27" and for the sake of this dress, my rib cage just under my bust is 29.5". I wasn't sure whether to go with size 2 or 4. I usually order S or 4 for FP items that are really fitted and XS or 2 if they are loose or made of a fabric with more give. Lately I've found that even in fitted stuff the XS/2 works best for me so I decided to try the 2 in this dress to ensure the tailored fit that it has in the photos. The rib cage is the part of this dress that appears to be most relevant and the size 2 just barely fits. It wasn't really a big struggle zipping but it was definitely a snug zip up. The bust fit fine and I had no issue anywhere else though I will comment that even zipped all the way down, I wasn't able to step into the dress because my hips were too wide so I had to pull it over my head. My hips are 34" I believe. At any rate, there is no give in the rib cage so it's definitely not a dress for dinner and if I gain even a lb I think it's done for :) but I think going with a size 4 would sacrifice the tailored style fit of this dress and I think the bust would end up being too big. And as of this writing, size 4 is out of stock so it's a moot point. I'm still on the fence. It's cute but now that I have it in person I still struggle with where I could wear this as it's inappropriate for my office and too dressy for my usual weekend style which is more along the lines of a layered Viole Trapeze slip. The fabric is also not quite as heavy as I anticipated which I'm largely ambivalent about but mentioning in case is matters to another. So I guess the summary is....it's largely what I expected, looks exactly as pictured, and is very particular in fit if you're wanting it to look as pictured on the model.

Love this dress. so comfortable, fits well. looks really cute. Material is heavy, but that's good for the winter/fall. Will try to pair it w/a lace layering top as well. Size 2 fit perfectly, I'm 5'4" , just barely grazes the floor in the back w/out shoes, but w/heels its fine.

OOOOHHHHHH, in extreme admiration for this Jumper. I ordered the 6 and an 8. The 6 fit as if tailored made for me. 35 24 35 5'5" 115. I can see where the cami top and princess seaming could be too tight on many gals. Even if they were smaller chested. My 32 D cup was just right! Fits in the ribcage area with slight room to wear tops under. (but that 8 was crazy way wierd, tight ribs, loose bust, ) Quality textiles, extreme attention to seam details. Is at least 3-4 inches too long, and I don't care for the contrast of the raw hem to the rest of this well made dress, so will bind the edges with Velvet Black Bias. By the way, the size 8 was way tweaked out, could tell it was constructed all wonked. So chances of that are frequent with FP. I was thrilled the size 6 seemed well put together. Only problem I found was the straps attaching at the front bust were misligned significantly, will have to remove it and slide it over least inch and half, but afraid to fuss cause the rest fit so well, and who knows, if I sent it back an reordered, next one could be strange like the 8 was. Commenting of the lining of this one, it is a full sweep lining, just as full as the outer layer. Bugs me bad to get dress with attached under slip that is way less full, clings, useless. So they did that good, plus, full length, so it peaks when moving about. I am gona add some crochet lace edge to it as well. My closet was ready with a good collection of Free People past items that match this. Victorian Angel cardigan in stone and black. The velvet Tripoli cropped jacket, The Heritage wool coat. To layer beneath, I picked the Fiesta cuff washed black thermal. Purchased the Mollys Beaded Top in Ivory XS with that Peter Pan collar! Now they are a treat to see together. To layer for more omph beneath, I can wear my Ziller park maxi skirt in black combo!! Was thrilled with that effect. Put with my Jeffrey Black/brown suede lace up Joe boots!!!!! Oooo iiieeee. As a seamstress, I can vouch for the great deal your getting, cost off all the fabics in this much less labor time, excellent value. So if you order it, and can, get a couple in each size, case one is tweaked. I might still fuss it up bought the straps being sewn in wrong place, have to carefully remove one and slip it over an inch and half. With all thats going on in this dress, worth the effort, I think. I am keeping it, for sure!!!! Looks just like the studio pictures on me. Gothic. Romantic, Equestrian, Demure.
Try it. Vixen it up, or demure it out. This a legend type article. It will smash Ralphs stuff!

I really wish this had fit better because I loved the material's weight and drape, but it was way too small in the bust (I'm a 38 B) while loose in the waist/hip. The length was perfect, sadness.
