Fell in love with this dress when I tried it on in a small in the store. I usually wear a medium in FP but the small fit perfect without making it look like i was wearing a flour sack.

Yes, the other reviews are totally correct about the sizing - the dress runs way large - but so do I. I'm 5'10" and the length is PERFECT.
I wore it to a friend's house party on a hot, humid, sweat-fest day in October. Somehow, this cotton gauze material was like magic keeping me completely comfortable. #I didn't need the separate lining.# Got loads of compliments - loved it!

i bought this dress in store and love it. size down, even for flowy FP fit. I'm usually an XL and i bought a medium. Also, the fabric has started to pull away from the seams because it's so flimsy. Taking it into my tailor to be fixed :-(

This dress' outer is made from a loosely woven cheesecloth fabric. A terrible choice for a dress that costs $200 and has so much fabric to drape. I can see it inevitably losing shape and the fibres catching on objects and pulling. There are also a number of loose threads around the beading detail.
This dress is also huge! The lining fits but if I kept this dress I would have to run the sides of it in a lot! I'm 5'10 and I'm also considering hemming the bottom - it is quite long if I wear flats.

I just got this from 5th avenue and i love it.. The other reviews are right is a bit baggy however isent everything else freepeople has?Its the look and as you can see on the midle is not tight so this how it looked on me. Its not too bad to be honest, its fabric is nice and the beading detail is really pretty.

I tried this dress on in the store. What the others said is true. EXTREMELY large. One of the girls there was wearing it and it looked good on her but you will have to size down. I wear a medium and tried on a small. It looked like a 2X. I suggest going down 2 sizes for a good fit. Otherwise it is a pretty dress.

When I put this dress on in my usual large it made me look like a little girl trying on my mom's clothes. The length pooled at my feet, and the armpits and neckline were incredibly low. I sized down to a medium and it looked better, but still huge. So, I tried the small (COMPLETELY unheard of for me) and it fit exactly how i wanted. Since I sized down 2 sizes the removable slip that came with the small did not fit at all, but for me that is a non-issue since I have the FP seamless slip. If you get your normal size the fit will be more like the first picture. Sizing down 2 sizes caused me to achieve the look from the 2nd picture,

This dress is enormous, in all ways. Nevertheless, it is beautiful. I am 5'5" and weigh about 113lbs. With my narrow shoulders it hung poorly on my frame, and the very full skirt made the dress appear more as a blanket than a garment. If I was 5'10" I would not have returned the dress.
