the material is high quality. I am a size 12 and bigger on top. Although I love this dress, I had to return it. It was way too snug. If a 14 was available, I would have exchanged it for that :("

"The previous reviews mention that the chest area is quite slim; I agree, i fit with little room to spare, but the dress fits wonderfully everywhere else (i'm a 34C/D). The white is a tad sheer but you wont notice anything unless you're wearing bright underwear/bra. The material is very light and breathable, I'm definitely going to be wearing this throughout the summer!"

"I tried this on at Macys. Gorgeous dress, but like everyone else says, it runs really small in the chest. I normally wear a 6 or an 8 in free people, but even trying on the 10 I could barely zip it up the side because the chest runs so small. It's also really really sheer, to the point where nipples are visible... I recommend anyone who does buy it get some type of white bandeau to wear underneath."

"I tried this in the 6 and it would not close around my chest. I am a 36 c. According to the online measurements it should have fit, but no luck. I am not sure this dress is very flattering for a pear shaped girl. Maybe I just had bad luck with the size 6 in the store."

"So I'm 5'7" and around 130lbs, maybe a little less and I almost always wear a 2 or a 4 but I read that this was small in the chest so I ordered the 6- I am so glad I did! For reference I'm a 34C and even the 6 is snug in the chest but comfortable, very flattering! Fits easy/loose through the rest of the body and is perfect with a belt. I ordered the black and it's one sexy dress, I especially like the straps. Very well made, looks like it'll hold up a long time. The black isn't see through at all but I could see how the white might be. Best sun dress I've owned in a long time! Hope this helps!"

"I was really excited to receive this dress but it was a major let down. The fit is really off and the fabric is so sheer, it looked really cheap and didn't hold my boobs well. It looked gorgeous online though and I wish it was better made b/c I have been hunting for a white summer dress since forever. Not one of your best fp"

"This dress was my first experience of buying from Free People. And it was good. I purchased the white dress in size 2. I really don't think that it is too sheer. But I tried it in the evening and there was no day light. The dress is quite tight in bust, but I've got a small one, so it is perfect - I can wear it both with and without bras."

"I have been looking for the perfect white boho dress for years and when I saw this online I thought my search was over, alas I was wrong. The cut is cute but it is very sheer I purchased the white) and I don't think you could wear a slip with it. Might work for some just not me. I usually wear a 4 but had to do a 6 in this because the chest area was too small. Quality is actually pretty good which can sometimes be hit or miss with FP."
