EVER, buy it, don't think...just do. I wear this under my Parisian slips and drippy jersey dress. I will buy all the colors they offer, and wear the you know what out of them all! Well done FP, well done...

I purchased this in black, and in person it's really beautiful. It's definitely a slip feel that might be reminiscent of nightwear, especially with the embroidered trim, but will pair well with other garments. Pretty versatile. I didn't give it a full five stars because I think the construction of the top is awkward. It's cut sort of like an apron up top, and if you have large breasts, will be tight, especially since the rayon has no give Because of the shape and the tighter fit, I've got a case of side boob going on. I'm still going to keep the dress and wear a tank under it, or pair it with a pretty lace bra, but be warned that large boobs will push the top of the slip to its limits.

very stylish and rustic looking slip :) for reference i am about 5'8 1/2 and weigh about 150 pounds and I ordered a small and it fits about the way it does in the picture!

Got this in large black. It fits exactly the same as on the blonde model. I sized up fr om my usual medium so it would be loose in the bust. I'm 34D, 29 waist, 39 hips and 5' 4". But here's where it always gets interesting - how is it that a model who is usually 4 - 8 inches taller than me and wearing a small ALWAYS have a dress or skirt fall to the exact same place on her leg as a medium or large does on me? Hmmm?
Anyway, the material is opaque for the most part, although standing in the sun one will see some leg outline. The lace is thick and sturdy and the slip material is quality and it all washes up well - hang to dry and fluff with no need to iron. Will layer with sweaters, boots, leggings/long socks in cool weather and sandals, overblouses, etc. for summer. Great piece.

I bought the XS - I normally wear 0-2. I intend to wear it under a little washed out mini denim dress I have, but it has potential to go with so much more! I agree with the other reviewer...although I don't think I can afford all the colors.

This dress has quickly become one of my favorite FP purchases. For reference - I am 5'7" around 140 with a slender athletic build - I got the XS in white/ivory and couldn't be happier. The dress hits a little farther down on the leg on me than on the model. This color is slightly see through so you would need to wear something under it... I would suggest the cream seamless romper or the side zip high waisted shorts and a cute bra. I really like this piece because it is thin enough for summer and thick enough to layer with other items for winter. Super soft material that seems durable.

(5'4" ~105lbs, 32B). I got army, which has less of the purple hue in the online picture, and more of a slate grey/blue. Fabric is lightweight but firm, with a very subtle sheen and this color is not see-through. Crocheted lace is, like others said, very sturdy, with a generous width of ~5in. If the lace ever tears a hole, it would be easy to sew together with minimal unraveling. Neckline may not dip as much and be too straight if you wear a size smaller or have broad shoulders. The ivory (more like white) was absolutely gorgeous in person, and black was surprisingly dainty. Paprika, which I felt was overwhelmingly bright online also looked incredibly pretty in person, if anyone is hesitant about the bold color. Only the army color seemed to be slightly different online, although still lovely.
