"The front hem hangs lower than the back. Rouching on the front body is stretchy with a strip of elastic. And actually, straps and the fabric stretch too, so there's lots of give. Cross straps and neckline are beautiful. The pleating/gatheredness of the skirt at the waist is a little balloony on hips but if you wear a contrasting under layer it not matter as much if your own not-ruffled shape shows. It has a little weight so it hangs and doesn't flutter away, but it does move nicely. Seriously attractive neckline. To me, worth a sale price."

"I'm going to wear this sweet little dress a lot, I can already tell! I was worried it might be too sexy, or maybe too gothic (I bought the black), but it really is just a flattering and romantic piece. I feel like a princess in it! I've worn it over the solid slip in blush, and that gives it even more of a feminine look. The waist is a little high, not like an empire waist but higher than I'm used to, but I love the look. It is true to the pictures, and the lace is soft and surprisingly durable. For size reference, the XS fit me perfectly, I'm 5"2 91lbs."

"i bought this a few weeks ago and wore it to a new years party with a shirt underneath. im 5'4'' and weigh 101 lbs and it fit great but a little loose in the chest area. the only problem is that its entirely see through...you have to wear another slip underneath it, still a great buy"

"Words cannot describe how much I love this slip. I wear it too often to admit. I am petite and small busted (100lbs, 32A, 25 waist, 34 hips), and the xs fits me perfectly. I wear it with any form-fitting dress underneath, and usually with a bright-colored belt around the waist. The slip is a little long, but it looks really gorgeous with a much-shorter dress underneath. Another great buy from free people!!"
