All of Jen's gauze pieces are handmade in Mexico, with the finest, softest cotton gauze. Each one is hand dyed in clay pots, over wood burning stoves, then laid in the Mexican sunlight to bake and hung to dry on a line. This process gives each piece its individuality and prevents any two pieces from looking exactly the same.

"I love this piece. It is made to be worn over a bathing suit,not as a dress. The material is gorgeous. I had to return the 1st one sent because of a couple of issues but the re-send is perfect. I steamed mine and it restored the fabric beautifully,still plenty of wrinkles as gauze should be. I am 5'7" and 125 lbs.The fit is perfect. If you need a cover up for traveling or resort wear this piece doe s a beautiful job.I wouldn't have paid the regular price,but the sale price is well worth it!"

"I really want to like Jen's Pirate Booty. Every item i have tried on has been a monumental let down. The gauze is SO SO SO thin. Much more thin than it appears in the images. The problem is compounded by the fact that the material is so dang delicate. It doesn't layer that well. This works almost exclusively as a swim suit cover-up, but you'd ruin it if you wore it to the beach. Only super slick/smooth slips will work under this. Think silk and the like. Beyond that, this particular shape sort of hangs. To be fair, the studio images capture this. The model does look like she's wearing a potato sack. the color also isn't flattering on 95% of the population. Lastly, the one size is probably best on a 2-8. Maybe only a 2-6. Not sure. Too large for a 0 for sure, and too small for a 10 for sure. 2 and 8 are on the fence."
