Cute but disappointed

"So I was a bit disappointed because the robe I received is not the same as in the picture. The fabric is a little heavier and more like linen. The sleeves are also different - they seem shorter than in the picture. It's still cute though so I decided to keep it."

"The item I received was completely different: with short sleeves, black and grey, from heavy material, completely not sheer. Also much shorter. See photo enclosed. I sent back, but the pack was returned to me. Just unlucky !"

"I just got this in the mail and love it! It feels a little different than I expected, but it's not a "bad" thing. I expected more of a chiffon, but the fabric is 100% rayon and feels more like a printed lightweight linen or loosely-woven poly/cotton blend. I'm not complaining and I'm no fabric expert, just wanting to describe how it feels. It is still light and flowy though, and I can't wait to pair it with shorts/tights and leggings and jeans and pretty much anything!"

"since this arrived in the mail two days ago, i haven't wanted to leave my house because i don't want to take this off. it's so soft and comfy, and i really need to figure out more ways to wear this outside. the only negative is it has an asymmetrical hem, so it shows unevenly under my coats. otherwise, this robe is amazing."

"This robe definitely has a lingerie feel without being too flimsy or provocative. It is only slightly sheer. Although the fabric is heavier than it appears, it has great movement and retains it shape. The colors and pattern are subtle enough for this to be paired with almost any texture or print. It would look great with a graphic tee for contrast. It has a looser fit which I am sure is in keeping with the style of the robe. Light, airy and flowing! I love it!"

"I LOVE THIS! That's the truth. I am a writer and, as such, I was allured by the marketing of this product. I admit it. I bought it partly because I love small floral patterns and partly because they called it "Storyteller". But I couldn't be happier with the real thing! I was nervous. I am 5'0" and 93 lbs. - "one size" is usually avoided. (It is "true to size" for a "one size" item - not too big or small) It is bigger on me than the model. Hits at my knees. But, the elastic keeps the shoulders bunched up properly. They do not sag. I have very narrow shoulders and this is usually a problem for me. The piece flows very nicely. I am considering changing it from an open robe to a closed gown by overlapping the front collar and stitching it closed. This would create a lovely semi-sheer layering piece over a tank and leggings or tight black flares. We will see!"
