I usually wear a small. For reference, I'm tall, thin and usually get a S/XS in tops. I read the reviews and bought a M in this jacket in case it would be tight in the arms. The medium gives me lots of room to move around, and since I bought it online, I'm not sure how a small would have fit in the arms. I think this top runs true to size, but if you have wide shoulders and thicker arms, you probably want to size up.
Sleeve length is perfect, the medium comes to about the same length as the photos, it just doesn't look as fitted, and I'd prefer a fitted look. Even with the bottom strings tightened, it looks a little baggy in the body. On the bright side, this jacket is really thin, so if you will be wearing it in the spring and fall, you will need to layer under it, so sizing up is a great idea for that reason!
The material is very thin, and I'm glad I waited until this was on sale. It will probably tear and you need to be careful not to snag the material in the zipper! It feels and kind of smells like a pool float, but it is water-resistant! Rather than the metal tag that is pictured in the video, I have a large fabric tag. You can fold up and hide the hood if you prefer, which is really cool, plus the whole idea of the jacket is awesome.
I bought the electric lemon, which is not the same color as pictured. The photos of the jacket are filtered, making it look like a soft yellow. The jacket I received is more of a lime color.

I am usually a size xs/s and weigh 120lbs/ 5'6 height so I thought size small would be good. The Size Small fit in the body but my arms and shoulders were tight, like if you were going to catch a basketball you would feel it tighten.
So I instead got a size Medium, which had the same problem, tight in the shoulders, fine in the body (stomach area), I would say the medium was a better fit though, but never resolved the overall problem.
I also feel like the material might rip someday from being pulled/tightened in the shoulders. Plus the zippers always snag on the material as well.....
So for $98.00 I would skip this if I were you. The overall quality could and SHOULD be better.

Just got this---I have had my eye on it for a couple of months & decided that I might as well add this to my closet! I was so excited to try it on! I got a medium, but almost wish I went with a small. With other FP purchases, I am almost always a medium---this, I found to be a generous medium based on usual fp sizing. I'm 5'6", 34C, size 27 in jeans, if that helps. It' a very practical piece, & they managed to make it cute! I chose electric lemonade & it's pretty true to the picture. I watched the video & noticed that the tag inside my jacket is different---instead of the little brass free people tag, it's a ribbon---doesn't really matter, just wanted to make a note.

I ran across this in the orange in a department store and thought it was adorable. I'm petite, 32DD,usually size 4 in jackets, and tried the S and M. The S was very tight in the shoulders and arms, but fit well elsewhere. The sleeves were the perfect length for me, which means they run pretty short. The M fit well in the shoulders, and there was plenty of room in the arms to wear it over another top. It fit close in the chest when zipped up, but was quite full through the rest of the body. The sleeves in the M are a bit long but I don't mind. Because it has a shirttail hemline instead of straight across, it looks a bit odd with the drawstring pulled tight. It is longer on me than on the model, hitting at mid-hip, but it's rainwear so the more coverage, the better. The orange is such a bright, pretty color, it would definitely be cheery on a rainy day. The fabric is sheer and has a sort of rubbery feel to it, but it will be waterproof so it's not a problem. I like that it folds up into its own little pouch. It doesn't take up much room at all when folded. I'm going to keep it in my car in case I get caught in a rainstorm. I would not have paid full price for this, but on sale it was a great deal. I have large arms but narrow shoulders, so it definitely runs small, especially in the shoulders. I'd recommend sizing up if you have broad shoulders, a large bust or large arms, or if you want to be able to wear it over long-sleeve tops.
