I love the brand One Teaspoon and as you know the brand tends to run small. It's also unfair in sizing since I'm usually a 29 and the highest size is a 30. I ordered a 30 to size up and when they came in they were more than big enough but when I tried to put on the shorts....the leg holes were so tiny I couldn't get them higher than my knee. The back label on the shorts say they're also a low rise, drop crotch style, which doesn't show in the model. It's a sad disappointment because this would have been a great pair of shorts. There's also no way to expand the leg opening so unless you have very skinny legs, this is not for you.

As adorable as these shorts are on the model online, they are nowhere near this cute in person.
To start off the blue is not as vibrant. I was able to look past that, but the fit really threw me. I know the One Teaspoon brand tends to run large, so I thought the fit might be a little off. The smallest size they have is 24, so that's what I ordered. 24 is my normal size, but I thought these would fit more like a boyfriend style if they were a little big. Well they turned out to be huge. I had to fold the waistband down just to get them to stay up. I would say the 24 fits more like a 26.
As a previous reviewer mentioned, the leg holes are snug, but this was the only part of the shorts that seemed to fit me properly. I was extremely disappointed.
In order to help others interested in these shorts I would also like to share some info that the Free People website seemed to leave out. They are the Super Freak style of One Teaspoon shorts. And the label on the shorts states that they are drop crotch. And let me tell you, the crotch is LOW. It looked like I had messed myself in my pants. Not the look I was going for and probably not the look most people are interested in.
Not recommended for petite frames at all. I will be returning these.
