"I wanted to love these shorts, they were on my wishlist since the day they came on the site and I ordered them once they went on sale. I bought these in a medium. They were a little large and bunched up really weird in the crotch. I was so disappointed that they didn't fit me right, but it could have just been me since everyone else seems to love them."

"This material is soft. Bought the Mauve color and is close to the pix. It looks like a skirt more than shorts. That's ok with me. I like them. Love the way they fit. Better than the pix with the model wearing the Ivory color."

"I fell in love with this skirt almost instantly when I tried it on, it is so adorable and the material and fabric are just lovely. I wear a crop top shirt (like the models) with it usually and it looks great, but it also looks nice with layering and throwing tights under it! This skirt is a MUST in every girls closet!"

"I tried these on in the free people store closest to where I live, and I looove them :). They are girly and very cute. I am about 130 lbs and I bought the mocha in a small. They fit great and if anything they are little loose. The online picture makes the top part look like a different color than the bottom part, but on the pair I have the whole thing is the same color. I would definitely recommend these shorts!"

"I typically try my hardest to wait for things to go on sale before I purchase anything at Free People because more often than not, pieces end up being marked down to a MUCH lower price and I always feel like I am being ripped off when I pay the original price. I've spent thousands of dollars here and can't help but feel cheated when the prices are so drastically and consistently reduced from the original price. That said, I bit the bullet and paid full price for these (yeah, I'm sure they'll be 30 bucks a month from now). They are so cute! Just as pictured. They're high waisted with a really great lace banding at the top. They are true to size, possibly a tiny bit larger than other larges but still not really enough of a difference to size down. They definitely run smaller than the Micro Tap Pant, which run huge. They are really flattering as the band and the high waist do a great job of covering up any tummy bulge without making you look like you're wearing maternity clothes. The length is perfect. I am 5'5" and bought the large. I am curvy and have substantial hips. These are short enough to look really cute and not look frumpy, yet long enough to cover your butt (many Free People shorts are super short and sheer and look more like lingerie or layering pieces than actual shorts,). These shorts are kind of cullote-y without looking like your grandmother could wear them and without having that weird dangly crotch that many of these types of shorts tend to have. They drape nicely (as pictured). Also, they aren't so baggy that you couldn't wear a tunic over them without looking bottom heavy. Totally recommend! I bought the white and they are as pictured. More of a bone color than true white. Good job on these, Free People. More please!"
