beautiful, but long

"This is such a beautiful skirt, however I am about 5'4 and I ordered a size small, and there is about 4 inches of the skirt that touches the ground. Even with heals on it is incredibly long, but the material and the color is simply beautiful. The material is silk which makes it hard to wear it out to fun events since it is easy to get dirty and would be very hard to clean. Overall, I would give this skirt 5 stars if it wasn't so long. I'm going to get it hemmed because I love it so much!"

"i have always loved the look of shakuhachi and was so excited to get this skirt, so you can imagine my disappointment when it didn't live up to my expectations. the color in the pictures appears more mustard, but in reality the skirt is more of a nude/taupe color. in terms of sizing, the fit is a little off- the waistband at top snap is really tight and tends to pull (can see it pulling on model in photo) but the hips are so free you don't want to size up; the length is another callout...it is extremely long. I am not model height, but 5'7," and with platforms, this skirt is still long. overall, this expensive skirt just didn't look or fit special enough to warrant its price, so alas it went back :("
