At first I was pretty happy with this lovely maxi skirt (I went with the red). It took me a few tries to find the right size - I ended up with a 12 (I wanted it to hit at my belly button - I am 5'4", 122 lbs). I had to have it hemmed because it was a bit too long also. I wore it all day yesterday for the first time, and when I got home I was devastated to see that my beige Fletch Boots were pink! And so were my sky blue Popcorn Thigh High Socks. The skirt dyed everything pink! I really hope my cobbler can save my Fletch boots, they are my favorite boots! I'm so disappointed that this happened. I will have to be very careful in the future what I pair this with. Black only I guess! Maybe if I try machine washing it on delicate (SEPARATELY!) it would help.

i personally like it a lot, but its NOT wool. label clearly says 100% cotton, so FP heres something that must be corrected in the description. it has some weight but still is flowy. id say its tts, i opted to size up based on the reviews, but there wasnt a need to. it sits below my waist, loose and comfy, but not too loose, so thats all fine. black combo looks very stylish and somewhat aged in my opinion. i rarely give 5 stars to FP items, often theres either misleading description either some flaws on the item itself-like holes, spots, rips etc. i do think that 4 being made out of cotton this item is overpriced tho.

I actually like this a lot. And I do get compliments on it. It is very long. I'm 5'10"/5'11" and it goes to my toes. It does sit high on the waist, which is possibly why the waist feels tight to the other reviewers. I agree it's not a loose waist at all. Probably to keep it up high - if it were any lower it would definitely drag. I like pairing this with t-shirts, wide belts, and ankle boots. It's very comfortable, light enough to wear when it's still somewhat warm out and heavy enough that it's not at all see-through. But it's definitely not "wool" so I have no idea why the description says "wool." (That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 - what the heck, you know?!) It's cotton. As for care instructions, although it says "dry clean only" (yeah right, like I'm a millionaire), I wash it on delicate and hang it to dry and so far, so good. Once I bought the light blue/black/gray striped one, I loved it so much I got the red-ish one.
Rated 3 out of 5Â by masseraj Nice Skirt but runs small and the fit is weird
I received this skirt this weekend and was pretty disappointed with the sizing. This runs pretty small in the waist. It's meant to sit high on the waist I think above the belly button from what I see in the picture and this is how it fits on me as well as being tight. Augghh just terrible and very matronly looking. Maybe this looks better on someone who doesn't have hips. Anyway, it must go back. Material wise, it is really soft and the color looks exactly like in the pictures. I ordered the black combo. There is a lot of fabric which would look better if it sat lower on the hips.
Rated 3 out of 5Â by elsbarbie nice skirt, but thin
As I find with a lot of clothing these days, the material on this is thin, but soft flannel type cotton. I tried this on in the store and looked at the label which said 100% cotton, dry clean. No wool. It isn't lined either. Two on seam pockets. It fits a little small in the waist so if you are in between sizes go up one size. I ordered this in red size 6 which fit fine in the store. I'm 5'7" and 125 lbs. Hope this info helps when purchasing. Not a lot of info given on this item on the website.
