I love this skirt! I am 6'1 and it hits the floor. It is the perfect length for tall girls. You can dress it up or down. This skirt will get a lot of wear for work and going out. I am very glad I purchsed this item.

Let me first say that I LOVE freepeoples clothing most times...
I just received the mad cool skirt BUT its totally NOT so "MAD COOL" the fabric is extremely cheap and not flattering. I'm starting to see alot of decline in the fabrics that are being used on the line. It is a UTTER dissapointment. I am taking this skirt back to the store asap...

i loved this skirt so much and wish it had worked. It was so soft and it laid perfectly. However I got the xs and it was still much too big around my waist. I tried rolling a couple times but then it laid oddly and and was too bulky on my waist. Maybe FP can make xxs or petite sizes for us petite FP lovers? However if it weren't for being too big I would have bought more colors so I still do recommend this amazing maxi!

I'm 6'1 and this skirt is long on ME, so be ready. Its very comfy and casual, so its nice to have in any color. Just be ready for the length, its definitely a raw hem type of situation!

LOVE this skirt. I own many maxis in many brands, styles, and fabrics, and this is my favorite summertime skirt for everyday errands, lunch dates, and shopping outings. A true maxi length skirt that reaches the floor. I am 5'6"/34C/130lbs with an average build, and I bought a small. It's roomy but I like it that way. Love the pockets! Regarding length: I noticed many of the previous reviews mentioned that the skirt is too long for their various heights. But you'll notice that the hem of the skirt is not finished - rather, it has a raw edge. This means you can cut off as much of the skirt as you see fit to make it the length you want - very versatile! You can DIY even if you don't have tailoring experience. Just make sure to use very sharp scissors (fabric scissors or sheers would work best), and if you're not good at eyeballing accurately while cutting, it wouldn't hurt to measure with a ruler/measuring tape and mark with tailor's chalk where you want to cut so that your new hem is even. Wear the highest heel you think you'll ever pair with this skirt when measuring/marking. Better to cut off too little (and just try again) than too much. Then leave the edge raw like it is designed it be. Takes 15 minutes, max! Or if this scares you, take the skirt to a tailor, especially if you want the edge finished (or to your bestie with the wicked tailoring skills!). Others have noted that washing and drying in the dryer has helped with the long hem as well. If you alter the skirt to the length you like, DO NOT dry in the dryer! It will shrink and you'll be left with a midi! :( I cut off about 3 inches and was pleased with the result - still nearly skims the floor with my 5-inch summer wedges. Very nice, FP. ;)
Rated 2 out of 5Â by teatime2 low quality material
I gave this order a lot of thought and read the reviews and figured I needed to see for myself, so I ordered it. I ended up returning it because of the quality of the material. I like the idea of a big, comfy, billowy skirt but could not justify spending $90 on something that I considered to be very low quality. it was VERY long, which would be okay, but I could also not justify having to cut something with a scissors that cost so much. I ended up returning it. I would probably buy this skirt but at less than half of the cost FP priced it at - just not worth almost $100 for the quality.

I ordered this skirt in the size S and the size M. I wear them both pulled up to my waist, so that the pockets are where pockets are supposed to be. There is only a small difference in the waistband between the S and the M, I can wear both comfortably. The size S, when worn high on my waist, just brushes the floor (I'm 5'9) whereas the M is a few inches longer. Also, the S fits more like the picture of the black skirt (more narrow throughout) and the M fits more like how the taupe is pictured. They are really cute and cool. I love maxis, and love that FP make them long enough for taller girls to wear. A part of me wishes the material was sturdier or thicker, but that's okay. I still love it, and have yet to find a skirt similar elsewhere.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by whishful Growing on me :)
When I got this skirt in the mail and tried it on, I have to admit, I was slightly disappointed. The fabric is extremely light and not very substantial, and it is so so so big! I am usually a small (5'9" 34-29-34), and the small was too big. BUT after I put it in the dryer and shrunk it down a little, it fits perfect :) It is super comfy and versatile, and it is really starting to grow on me. The design is awesome as well. Only thing.. I think the fabric should be thicker for the price of the skirt.
