"You can see many more multi-colored fibers in person rather than just B&W - really more navy than Black actually. It sits right above my hips, below my waist - so not necessarily a high waisted skirt. Its very thick material and the pleats are also quite wide/chunky. I think because the material is a bit thicker, this skirt doesn't make my hips look too wide/ hippy (even though one reviewer felt this way). Even though I wanted to keep this, I think the multi-colored fibers and the wide pleats did not do it for me."

Great fabric - REALLY a-line.

"The fabric on this skirt is beautiful - a heavier tapestry infused up close with lots of red and gold threads that looks super high quality and just stunning. It fits true to 'FP sizing' in that I am 5'6" and around 125lbs and a 2 fit perfectly for a not quite high waisted look as on the model. All that being said, it was the structured pleats themselves that aren't my favorite. This really is structured in big pleats - think fashionable cheerleader skirt. It would have worked too, but the a-line on the sides is pretty extreme, and even though the fairly wide hem is weighted to have it hang right, I still found that the skirt stuck out far too much at the sides for me and my hips. Possibly ironing or dry cleaning could get rid of the sticking out folded/pleated look on the sides, but it was too much for me. A for effort though - a beautiful skirt otherwise!"
