This dress is fabulous. I was a little hesitant ordering it because I thought that I might not get enough use out of it with the summer ending soon but it looks great paired with a sweater (like on the model) or a cropped military jacket. I can see getting a lot of use out of this one.
The way the top is cut on a bias is also super slimming. Sometimes these tube type of top dresses give a uni-boob but this one does not. A great purchase.
For reference - I am 5.4, 113lb and the XS fit perfectly.

although its a great concept, after seeing this dress in person I returned it. the bottom being raw hem was fraying unbelievably. the bottom material is very delicate and it was coming at the stitches literally. I dont know how I would be able to wash this item and still preserve the bottom of it intact.

I bought one of these dresses in each color and planned to use them as skirts. That's exactly what I did. First, I used a steamer on them to get rid of all of the wrinkles, and they came out SO easily and quickly, it honestly took me less than a minute to do each one. Then I placed them at my waist and just folded over the tube-top elastic part. I paired the skirt with a loose-fitting long-sleeved white tee, a long pendant, and a pair of studded black leather ankle boots. SOOOO cute. And I've been wanting something to wear those boots with! I'm sad they're running out of sizes so quickly. My daughter wants one of these as well because when you spin, the skirt flowers out in the most splendiferous manner, but there aren't any more in a size that would fit her. I hope FP is planning on re-stocking this dress. I want to buy three more (two for my daughter, one extra for me, lol).

This dress was very fun in theory. It fits fine, but the style greatly limits the opportunities I will have to wear it. It's definitely a younger woman's style because of the cut of the bodice and the length (I'm tall and it was shorter than I was expecting). I really debated returning it, but in the end decided to trust the designers. We'll see...I'm only 34...didn't expect a dress like this to be borderline age inappropriate.

I love this one, I have a S, and its a great fit. I'm 5/5 135lbs, 34b. This slip has VOLUME, when I walk is swings and bounces a little and is so DELIGHTFUL. Works great as both a dress and skirt. Although it is a tighter fit on the hips. So if you prefer long skirts take your hip measurements into account!
I have the beige color and I wear it even in winter with thick black tights, cute booties, and layers of FP sweaters.

We ordered these in the storm color for my daughters wedding . She wore the Mexican Wedding Dress and Pieced Lace Scarf as a veil in the Ivory (outdoors New Mexico wedding). The color was perfect as she wanted an edgy blue for her GF's . They wore them strapless and looked elegant in such a simple yet flirty piece. They fit perfectly , the color was true to the pic and these will be an item they can keep on wearing as a dress or skirt . Perfect !!!

I've already worn this gorgeous slip/dress/skirt 3 times since I received it one week ago. I actually have to stop myself because I always gravitate towards it when I'm putting outfits together to wear for the day. I've worn it as a skirt, dress and slip. It's so totally versatile, light and beautifully flowing. I feel like a ragamuffin in Les Miserables when I'm wearing it. I ordered the Storm color which is such a gorgeous color and exactly true...the color of storm clouds. I'm usually an X-Small/Small and I ordered the X-Small and it fits me perfectly. For reference, I'm 5'2 at 112 lbs. and 34b. bust. It has removable straps but I have not used the straps yet as I find that I don't need it. I wore this under my Millie Tank which I tied to one side and booties and it looked awesome! We've still had some pretty warm days where I live so I wore it as a dress with my J.C. Cursoe Fest Sandals..WOW! The best buy I've made!

I have never written a review for an FP purchase before, but this dress was so amazing that I felt I absolutely needed to. I'm always hesitant when shopping on Free People, as I'm 5'2" and on the curvier side, but this dress is the most flattering item of clothing I own. Other reviews stated that it may not fit larger chested girls the right way, but I found that the medium gives me a sort of Proto-Renaissance courtesan look, very sexy while simultaneously elegant. It's longer on me than on the model (about tea length) but still looks great with flats or heels. The fabric is very light and semi-sheer, but can be worn layered or alone appropriately. Overall, beautiful dress, 10/10 recommend.
