What an awesome sweater!!!! I sized up from my usual small to a medium as I wanted a little extra length in the front as I preferred the look on the black and cream to the red which looked a little short. Whilst this makes it a little wider it does not detract from the look. Gorgeous, soft the washed black is an amazing colour and looks great with jeans, dresses and skirts. I am so happy with the purchase that I have also purchased the cream. FYI 167cms, 35 inch bust, 55kg.
Must stop purchasing FP gear. I am obsessed!!!!

I just received this sweater in the mail and immediately sat down to write a review--my first in 10 years of shopping at Free People.
I fell in love with this sweater after seeing it online, and was actually surprised at how much more I was in love with it before I even had it completely out of the packaging. From the picture, I thought it *might* be thin (owing to the wide weave) or scratchy, but it is a substantial sweater, and very soft. It even has a thin, barely noticeable cross-strap at the back of the neck to prevent it from slipping off your shoulders, so you can have a slouchy look without being uncomfortable.
While it's a baggy style, I rated it TTS for the sleeve length and width, and the fact that the front of the sweater hits mid-hip (I am 5'1" and ordered my usual small). I got the washed black and the colors in the photos are right on the money.

I purchased the sweater in the ivory combo because of how comfy it was. The sweater is so soft and cozy but is a tad boxy. However, I layered it over the bell trapeze cami in white and it's almost like the two were made for each other. The perfect amount of lace peeks out from the sweater and I can't wear the pair without receiving multiple compliments. Definitely one of my favorites!!

I vowed to stem my FP addiction for the New Year...But then I felt this sweater while returning something. I had a conniption fit. I just had to have...one...last...thing. How a wool and acrylic sweater churns into The Softest angora-feeling sweater ever simply stumps me. This sweater literally made my jaw drop in its flattering sexy casual fit and insanely warm silky soft texture. My fave colors are black and red in general but the cream is the most beautiful color of all the three. I'm a size 4 and while the small fit my arms perfectly, I opted for the xs - the shorter length stole my heart. Will wear off both shoulders so as to fit my arms, and will wear cami/ thermal under due to the slightly loose knit. Sigh. I need FP anonymous.

I got it and wasn't that great. I actually have only worn it once and I have had it for a few months.
It is soft , warm and easy to wear ....it is also a lot shorter in the front than the back and a bit boxy.
May have been better if I went with the SM instead of XS for a bigger/baggier look.

For the price (and because of some of my previous disappointments with fp pullovers) I wasn't expecting much, but decided to give it a chance anyway. And it was a pleasant surprise! Super soft and warm, albeit loosely knitted material at some places. I say size up because the fit is pretty boxy. Other than that a great shirt, worth the money

The cloth is definitely cuddly and soft and surprisingly thick. The black sweater has strands of dark green woven in, as well as gaps where it's see-through, giving it a rich visual appeal. It looks great over a tank top or a thin henley.
The cut is wide and boxy, the arms are rather short unless you let it drape over you and hang off your shoulders (a strap across the back will keep it from falling off). I find it's best just to pull it on and let it adjust itself however it wants, then it's super comfortable.
