I really wanted to like this sweater however nothing about it was appealing. The sweater sheds a whole lot & has little holes that look like the are a little to big to be part of the actually design. I am huge freepeople lover & spend way to much money here to keep such a poor designed top when I know they will come up with much better winter options so Im returning and saving up for the winter freepeople designs.. =) Still love the company this just was not my cup of tea!!

For the price, I was expecting this to be a thick cozy sweater. Once it arrived I was a little disappointed to find that it was a lot more thin than the Shaggy Knit sweater. I ordered this sweater in ivory, which looks like the perfect color in the photo. but in person its more of a yellowy cream color than the ivory white color shown in the photo. Still happy with the purchase, but I don't love it as much as I thought I would :(

Purchased this in a small. Cute and oversized. Super soft and the Ballet is a true pale pink unlike the Ballet in the Shaggy Knit Pullover. Very pretty and feminine.
Highly recommend and will be purchasing this in more colours.

It is with a huge sad sigh that I write this review. This top arrived with a bunch of other FP stuff yesterday and I returned it today. I live in Canada and so I am always on the lookout for gorgeous warm winter clothing, this top does not fit my criteria. Let's start with the arms, there is a band knitted just below the shoulder that contricts the arm and is just weird. Next the sweater hangs like a box, it is not flattering at all. The top was pilling even before I wore it. It's just not worth the money, at all.

Ive been on the quest for the perfect FP sweater and people this is it! Got this lovely, this morning and I could not be happier. For reference I am 5'9. 130lbs and a 34c bust and I went with the size small in Ivory. I go between small & medium, and from the studio shots, it looked pretty roomy. This sweater fits exactly the way it is shown, so if you are a tiny little lady maybe size down. The only thing Im not ecstatic about is the $118, but the quality is so nice, and I can see this piece holding up and being such a staple it is worth it. Definitely going to purchase the black today!

Even if I don't necessarily love an item, I don't usually return it unless there is absolutely no way I would ever wear it. Unfortunately, that was the case with this item. I ordered it in the charcoal. It looks black in the photo's, but based on the name I assumed it would actually be more of a dark grey. In real life, it is actually more of a faded black, but in a bad way. It looked like a sweater that had been washed and worn so many times that the colour faded to an ugly purple-y black (and not in a cool vintage way that just has more character). It is very thin, and it sheds little black fluff balls on EVERYTHING. The quality of the knit isn't very good. All of that aside, the fit is atrocious. I thought it would have a nice long and lean look like in the pictures, but this sweater is actually quite boxy. I am usually a XS-S in FP, and ordered this in a S because I like the oversized look... but it was so awkwardly wide, and oddly short in the front compared to how it came down almost to my knees in the back. I couldn't imagine finding a way to make this work... and ended up paying $25 to ship back to the US from Canada. What a disappointment!

I had my husband buy me this sweater for Christmas(printed out the picture and size). I had seen it online and fell in love with it. Unfortunately the closest store that carries this line is The Bay and when my husband went they only had 1 left in a medium. He bought it anyway because he knew how much I wanted it. When I put it on Christmas day it was huge on me. I am 5'5 and 130 pounds. The back of the sweater goes down at the back almost to my knees. I can't return it because I was so happy to see it I removed the price tag and my husband can't find the receipt. So now I'm stuck with this expensive oversized sweater. If anyone has tried shrinking it let me know if it worked. I'm not going to try it just incase it ruins it. So if you are going to buy this sweater size down!!!

I wanted this sweater for the longest time. the body of it fits great but I found the arms very tight. They tend to loosen up a bit after you wear it, but for an oversize look, I want the arms to be a little loser as well. I kept it but I probably should have sent it back. It's not a favorite.
