Beautiful But Small Arm Holes
4.26.2012-
"This top is amazing and the details are beautiful but I have to agree that the armholes are tight. This would be perfect if not for that strange error in design. I still kept mine and wear it but the lace arms are just snug."

All Messed Up!
1.17.2012-
"I purchased this top in ivory back at the beginning of September. I had the woman who forwards my US packages measure and photograph it. I did not have her do anything intensive since I figured it was a no-brainer. I measure 38-26-36, wear a 36C bra and ordered a M. The body of the top is HUGE, but if it was not for the arms, it would look cute oversized. The bust on my M measures an expansive 49" in circumference. I think the lace is very pretty and sturdy. I don't mind the panel material at all, although a softer chiffon would have been nicer. The seam where the bodice meets the arm is just totally out of proportion to the rest of the top and stitched in an odd place. I can just get my arm through it, but it is cutting off my circulation. I an guessing due to the fact that it seems some people had the same experience as I did and others are very happy, either this only suits VERY thin arms or the sizing/arm hole defect is only a problem in random pieces. I cannot return this since it is past the return deadline, so I am stuck with a manufacturing defect. I put it in my charity donation pile, but am very upset at paying full price for a top I can never wear. :-("

Strange armhole size
12.27.2011-
"1 star because of the arm hole area. Otherwise, 5 stars for looks.
I had to return this, as much as I love it, because I could not wear this comfortably because the upper arm/arm hole is so small it feels like it's a defect in the pattern. I am having a really hard time envisioning someone wearing this comfortably. Maybe we got a bad batch in the 2 counties around me.....Doesn't matter where I tried it on, FP stores, Dept stores, etc., the arm/sleeve hole was TIGHT. Very disapppointed.. Love the way it looks, though!

size down
11.16.2011-
"I recommend sizing down at least once. This op is completely sheer but since it covers your chest, you don't absolutely need a layer. It is embroidered in the lace part with very fine stitching that must be seen in person to be appreciated. Very feminine."

Lovely!

"This is such a beautiful top. The detailing on the lace is very pretty. It was a little more cropped in the front than I expected but that is not a big deal. Definitely my new favorite top!"

8.22.2011-
"I got this in the plum and it is gorgeous!! It fits perfectly and the detail is amazing! I cannot wait to wear this out...gonna need a plum bandeau for under it but it is a stunner!!!! Fits just like on the model. I don't know what happened on the other girl's with issue of the sewing but she must have gotten an irregular item..."

SO BEAUTIFUL! Ivory; its actually white/off white
8.12.2011-
"I give it 5 stars all the way. I'm not really sure what the other review is talking about, but I did not have any of those problems, so I'd probably try it on the store before you drop a hundred dollars. Anyway this top (sizing, color, design) looks exactly on the model as it does on me. I am always an XS in free people and i bought an xs in this and it looks exactly as it does on the model, it is soo pretty. It's light and not too boxy, the sleeves bell out and the lace detailing is even more delicate and gorgeous in person. This top is super feminine and I feel like a princess when I wear it. . I also love that the front hem doesnt go straight across, but cascades down on both sides of the model, which is also flattering.
Contrary to the other reviewer, I thought the shoulder was perfectly sized, but the arm sleeves are almost too big! Hmmm. Theres a lot of room by your arms, almost too much, and the sleeves are a little long, they go past your wrist, but I also love that about the shirt. It's perfect in every way, except it's a little pricey. It's also made of cotton, so FP has no justification for making it $100; maybe they just like ripping you off."

Whats with the sewing?
8.4.2011-
"I loved loved loved the look of this top, so I ordered 2 colors. The white one came in. XS, 100 lbs, 5'4", 32A. Well...the armpits were sewn up so tight, I could barely get my arms in.(From the armpits on, sleeves flare out) Then the back was so bulky, it puffed out making me look like I had a lacy humpback.. Surprisingly, the front looked great.. I was optimistic still, and let it hang, thinking it needed some rest time from being packaged, put it back on, took it off, saw if I could fix the seams on the side and under the arm, pinned it, put it back on, took it off, and am going to return, and cancelled the other color. So disappointed! It is such a great concept, but I think another type of fabric should have been used in the solid areas. (The seams connecting the two materials buckled a lot, I think solid material was cut on bias) .something soft and flowing...I don't know, maybe it just needs fabric softener!
but with proper sewing, I think this could have been a winner.
I might have gotten one that was just sewn up all wrong, so maybe others will fall better.....good luck! really, a beautiful blouse...if it was sewn better (More armhole, less material in back, silk or poly for the solid areas, so it falls straight down from shoulders) I do hope there are better sewn ones out there for all of you!
