Rated 5 out of 5Â by njohnson1962 Softest white shirt ever!
I loved this white shirt so much, I also ordered one for my daughter. We both sized down a size because it is an oversized shirt. I am 5'2" so my regular medium size was too long in the back. I did like the roomier fit, but opted for a more fitted, but shorter Small. It is a very soft shirt and I can't wait to wear it with jeans, but it will also be a good throw on if we have a cooler summer night. It is pretty substantial so it is not a sheer shirt which is one beef I have with white. The price is high for a plain, white shirt, but in this case, I bit the bullet twice.

This shirt is wonderful. It is so incredibly soft and cozy. But still sexy. Note: CP Shades runs large. I would say order one size smaller than you normally wear. Because it is very oversized. But I love the quality of this shirt. It will look really cute with cut-off shorts and little boots.

This review is only for the Boulder color shirt only and this is whyâ¦..
I love these shirts and I have 2 of them, one in the wash and the other in the beet color, in large, but when I ordered the boulder (blue like in color) it looked way smaller then a large. So I did a comparison with the others I already have, and sure enough the Boulder color was smaller in size, even though it was labeled large. I'm not sure but, it could have been that they missed labeled it as large or they are now sizing it down some. Therefore I had to return it and didn't attempt to re-order another one. I didnât want to take off a star on this but I had to because of the size on the boulder color only.
The two that I have I love. It has a very soft gauze feel to it. Iâm 5â 7â at 190 and my midsection is a problem, the 2 large shirts I have like this covers it. Since Iâm sort of tall I donât seem to look over weight but I amâ¦.. :O(

Unsure of size, I bought an xs, knowing it might be too small, so I snagged a small after asking for an email update when restocked. I'm 5'5", 135 pounds, with small shoulders and average waist/hips (size 6-8 pants). The xsmall fit, a little boyfriendy, but the arms felt too short. With an oversized shirt, the arms should be long, a true boyfriend fit. The small size is perfect: longer arms (they cover most of my hand), and a roomier overall fit. So soft and comfy! Boulder color is true to pics. Note: one of the shirts I received has a white FreePeople/CP Shades combo tag, the other a boulder-dyed CP Shades tag. FP must have changed to a combo tag somewhere along the line. Otherwise, shirts are identical. Wish they'd stock more richly colored, everyday shirts like this: well made, everyone (no matter how old) loves them. This is a true staple, one to be worn for years, and that will withstand wash after wash after wash, and never come apart. Beautiful shirt.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by mmmm CP Shades, how do you do it?
Think of the size as equivalent to mens. I got the Beet, but the color was a little softer than pictured. Hopefully it won't turn too pink as it fades. Shrank about an inch in each direction. Somehow, it just looks amazing and it feels like butter. Actually worth the money. I have several other double cloth shirts and I love them all, but this is the one I reach for.

Oh BOY! this shirt is so soft and yummy I put it on and actually never want to take it off! Looks great with just about everything like it with body con skirts. A true staple, so laid back and easy. I purchased the white, which is white just not an optic white (not really cream either as another reviewer said). wish it was a little less pricey, but totally worth it as I will be wearing it for years to come! Thanks FP!!

I was really disappointed when this came in the mail. I was expecting a white shirt as depicted on the model. Unfortunately, this shirt is off white (like a cream). Returning.

I am a big fan of CP Shades, their fabrics are usually worth the high prices. I ordered this hoping for a soft, fine cotton button down that I would have for years. When I pulled this out of the bag, without even trying it on I knew it was going straight back. The fabric is like double-gauge, bullet proof rumpled gauze. Awful. So thick and bulky (unless that's the look you are going for). A shockingly bad item for the way-too-high price.
