Leather satchel bag with patterned woven detailing on front flap with fringe and colorful bead trimming. Woven leather strap and embroidered stitch detailing around top opening and edges of bag. Inside is fully lined with zipper pocket and two pouches. Magnetic snap button closure at top. Leather feels super soft and supple and will just get better with age.

i'm glad the first reviewer mentioned about the discrepancies between the pictures and the actual bag, so i know what i was getting myself into. just like hers, mine has a lot more black details in the woven part, but i find it more unique. i do love all the fringe and beads and braids and coins. the strap is pretty long which is corssbody-friendly, or i just tie a knot like the first 2 pictures to make it shorter. the leather is supple and it's got sufficient room and pockets as an everyday purse. this is definitely a unique bag and i'm so glad i got it on sale.

Not as pictured, but very nice
I'm not a fan of southwestern art, however I loved the fringe and detailing in the photo, so I ordered this bag. I can see now that each bag will be different - so be forewarned that what you see is not necessarily what you'll get. The leather is soft and smells wonderful and the fringe and detailing are like playing one of those seek-and-find bead games; there's always something new you hadn't seen before, including awesome coins that look like pieces-of-eight on my particular bag. (However, there was a very sharp piece of metal sticking off of one of these that gouged me and I had to file it down with a metal file.) The thing that I dislike is that the patterned material on my bag was probably pulled directly from a Mexican blanket and has FAR too much black in it, which detracts from the beauty of the bag. In all, that's not enough to make me return it - it's a wonderfully detailed purse and I plan to use it often.
