Rated 1 out of 5Â by BriBuckDag RIPPING AT THE SEAMS
I absolutely ADORED this dress. I ordered it in March and waited for the weather to warm up a bit to bust it out. I wore it out to a restaurant and then the following day slipped back into it to take my engagement pictures. By the end of the day the dress has two MASSIVE holes where the lace stripes connect to the rest of the material. The material of this dress is so incredibly heavy that it is ripping the lace away from the top portion. I'm convinced this will eventually be a crop top..... I have never ONCE returned an FP purchase, but you cannot charge over 100 dollars for something that is physically falling apart at the seams.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by brigitlee9 Great fit! But look for loose seams.
I ordered this dress in medium and it fits loose, but very flattering. Like other reviewers I've worn it without the slip and I find it lays better. I have a high waist and I think the dress definitely drapes in all the right places. My only complaint, which was noted by another reviewer, was that it shipped with 2- 2 inch holes located on different seams. One was in the back were the lace attaches and one by where the tag was sewn in. I easily fixed the seams but for $150+ with expedited shipping I wasn't expecting a sewing project.

 by noogagirlblue I LOVE it.
I was very hesitant to purchase this because a) I am not anywhere near the height and size of uh, a model, and b) I'm 40.
But I gave it a shot, because I fell in love with it. I'm glad I did. I am 5'8" and measurements are 34/28/38. A shapeless dress is not usually what I go for But in this case, it worked out.
I did not size up, because if the dress is already shapeless, I didn't want to make it too big on top of that. It turned out to be a good call. The shoulders were perfect, so it IS true to size, for my purposes. This pic is the outfit I planned for the dress even before it got here!! I was very happy with it.

I just tried this dress on and purchased it in white at my local Free People today. The stores carry it in light purple too. One of the employees there was wearing it and it looked really cute on her. She was skinny (prob around a size 4) and was wearing a size small with some white converse. It was really oversized on her but looked really good that way. I am 5'5" and a size L/US12 and I wear a size 36B bra. I tried on the large and it was really oversized. It didn't look as good on me as it did on the employee because I have full hips and a smaller chest. So, I sized down to a medium and it was more fitted but still baggy in the chest. I finally sized down to a small and settled on that size. The small was fitted on me and it was shorter than the large so that the band of lace didn't hit at my widest part of my body. I also tried the extra small and although that one fit, the sleeves were an awkwardly short length. The size small that I bought made the fit look completely different than the large! The small is fitted on top, and flowy on bottom and comes a little longer than mid thigh and the band of lace sat a little higher so that my the widest part of my body wasn't accentuated, whereas the large was flowy all over, came to my knees, and the band of lace hit at a lower spot. This dress comes with a removable slip. The slip is fitted. I cannot use the slip that came with the small because I am not a small. So I will throw the slip out and use the seamless slip in white that I already own. So, basically, if you are thin and looking for an incredibly flowy and shapless (yet beautiful) boho dress, stick to your normal size. If you are curvy like me and look better in something that is a little more fitted, go down 2 sizes. Hope this helps!

I'm so happy I decided to purchase this dress. I really loved it when I saw it in the catalog but initially decided not to buy it because I thought it would be a little too loose for my taste. I don't mind flowy dresses but generally steer clear from anything that is truly shapeless or that is too poofy in the stomach. After continuing to admire the dress and checking out all the style pics (btw, great idea FP), I decided to give it a try. I really love the dress. I'm 5'4", 115 lbs, 34 B or C, 27" waist and 35" hips and ordered XS and am very happy with the fit. It is loose, of course, but far from shapeless and hangs in a way that is flattering. For me the fit was a tad looser than the front view photo of the lilac. XS is my usual size. If this came in an XXS on-line I think it would have narrowed the waist more, like some of the style pics seem to appear, but I am still happy with the fit of the XS. If you are on the fence with loose fitting clothes, like I am, I think this is a dress that will allow you to explore a more bohemian style but still make you feel like your figure is not completely lost in loose, boxy layers of fabric.

I tried this dress on in the store because I wanted to see how it looked in person, and to ensure I got the right fit, and I definitely recommend trying it on before you buy (especially for you busty gals!). I am a 34DD, 5' 4", 148 lbs, and I needed a medium in order for the top to fit correctly. If you have a smaller chest though, then a small should definitely work. The fit is nice everywhere else too - it drapes nicely, and doesn't look like a huge lump of fabric; in fact, it looks adorable and ethereal. Another thing to note though is that this dress construction and fabric are super delicate - I tried on a medium, but it already had the lace separating from the fabric, so I asked for a different one. Be ultra gentle with the dress! Now, I did buy it, because it is adorable, gorgeous, and looks amazing, but with the fact in mind that it will need to be treated with the utmost delicacy and care. Overall, a great buy!

It fits strangely when you try it on. The large is too large the Medium is too large the small is too small. There is a lot of fabric in the back and it makes you look bigger than you are. It looks adorable in photos but it really is not as great when you try it on. Not worth the $$$.

I had been looking at this dress, since the look book came out and finally splurged. I absolutely love the design and the delicate nature of the lace. I ordered a size S, and it fit perfectly. Mine is a bit baggier than that shown in the picture (she is probably wearing the XS). The only issue I have is that the dress is already ripped on one of the bottom seams. I purchase alot of FP items and this is the 2nd piece of clothing that has ripped. It is upsetting given the cost of the clothing. With the exception of that, I was extremely pleased!
