worst dress ever and huge waste of $

"i have this dress hanging in my closet and i will probably never wear it. i think i ordered a M, wait actually i had to get a L because of stock issues (i'm normally a S or M).and it is the smallest thing ever. if i had gotten a M i don't think it would have fit me. it falls just under my butt, making it look like i'm wearing a shirt with no pants and just looks cheap. i think i would feel really risque wearing it outside and uncomfortable. i wish i had the receipt and bag to return it. unless you're really short i say steer clear and buy something else well made."

"I was a little worried having read other reviews on the site, but the dress looked so adorable on the model (she is my height and build) that I thought I'd take a risk and order it anyway. It does fit slightly looser round the sides than in the picture, but I have larger breasts which help to fill the dress out - so I don't find it too bad to be honest. The cut outs are super sexy and cool so going nude under is essential ladies - bra's and panty straps would be too obvious and ugly, so underwear is simply not an option with this dress. I am 5'10 and slim and the xs is super comfy on me, and the length is fine, coming to just around the base of my bottom, so very flattering and sexy. It's slightly flared and loose around the bottom which feels really nice, and the material is super lightweight and floaty too so has lots of sway and movement when you walk or dance, and blows around in the breeze a little. Small tip though: with nothing on underneath, I'd save your blushes and avoid on very windy days..;) I love to just wear it on it's own with just a little pair of ankle boots if I am going out of an evening, or on summer days with just a pair of sneekers which is also a great look. I can't speak for other reviewers but I love the dress personally, and hey, you can always return it if you don't like it. :))"

"I loveee this dress! It so cute and comfy! I love that you can dress it up or dress it down. I wore it last saturday night with heels and a leather jacket and got sooo many compliments! Def would recommend it!"

"i fell in LOVE with this when i first saw it online and had very high hopes for it based on the pics. unfortunately, when i tried it on when i got it in the mail today, i was soooo disappointed. for the price, i expected more. as another reviewer mentioned, it's HUGE on the sides. i usually wear FP xs or small for tighter items that i prefer a little loose. i was SWIMMING in this. the color is pretty. i considered altering it (shortening the side panels which looks relatively easy), but with the price of this dress, i can't bear to put more money or effort into it. if it gets a SIGNIFICANT markdown, i MAY purchase and alter... but not at full price..."

Weird fit

"I was so excited to wear this dress, but I was definitely disappointed when I got it int he mail. The material was flimsy and fit was weird. The top was loose, just feel too baggy. If I go a size down, the dress would've been too short because the M barely covered my butt and I am 5'7". This shouldn't be called a 'dress', it's a tunic at best because of the length."

"I got the pink in a large and I was not very pleased. First of all, the fabric is not very substantial. The length was very short and fell just past my butt (5'9"). The dress looked cute with jeans under it, but that was not why I bought it, so it went back. The cut outs on the side were cool though."

"I bought this the minute I saw it online because I thought it was so adorable. I was super excited to receive it and the day it came I was planning on wearing it out. Except, this isn't a dress. It's ridiculous is what it is. It's super short, like, obscenely short, and I'm 5'4". I ended up bringing the dress in to return this weekend and without saying anything to my best friend who works in the store I pulled it out and she said "Is that a children's dress?" Also it's just super sheer and flimsy. I'm a Free People addict and have no problem spending money on clothing I love but $168 for this dress is just stupid. I was expecting something a bit more substantial for nearly $200."

"i just received this and it's adorable except for the fact its so big on the sides for me. i got my normal size xs but still there is so much space on the sides for some reason. i have such a big gap where those button like straps are =(
it is as pictured-the color and the dress-length was where it hits the model maybe just a smidge longer since i'm shorter than the model.
